Located in bing'an Town, Chishui City, Guizhou Province, the exhibition hall of the first Red Army of bing'an is the only one in China with the theme of commemorating the first Red Army.

China Red Net, Guizhou, November 12, 2010 (Fu Gaoqiang) - after the opening ceremony of the successful application for World Heritage and the 20th anniversary of the founding of Chishui City in Danxia, Chishui City, Guizhou Province, on the afternoon of November 10, the only exhibition hall in China with the theme of commemorating the first Red Army, the exhibition hall of the first Red Army in bing'an ancient town, Chishui City, Guizhou Province, officially opened. Its name was inscribed by general Jia Ruoyu.

The opening ceremony was solemnly held in front of the former site of the bingan headquarters of the first front army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army. Zhang Xinsheng, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of education; Lin Xiaolin, daughter of Lin Biao, head of the first Red Army Corps and founding Marshal; Li Weiyu, daughter of Li Jukui, first division commander; Chen Yuedong, son and his wife of Chen Guang, second division commander; Liu Yuhong, daughter of Liu Yalou, political commissar of the second division; Xiong Huairong, chairman of the Chishui Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference; Li Junyi, member of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee and political commissar of the Ministry of people's armed forces Liu Xiaoqing, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Xu Shaofang, vice mayor of the municipal government, Tang Yang, vice chairman of the CPPCC municipal committee and head of the United Front Work Department, and Wang changqian, researcher of the CPPCC municipal committee, attended the opening ceremony. Leaders from all levels and departments and guests from friendly counties (districts and cities) attended the opening ceremony.

Lin Xiaolin, daughter of Lin Biao, head of the first Red Army, spoke on. In the jubilant applause and cheers, Zhang Xinsheng and Lin Xiaolin officially opened the exhibition hall of the first Red Army of bing'an.

On January 25, 1935, the first Red Army was ordered to attack Chishui County, which opened a channel for the Central Red Army to cross the Yangtze River from Luzhou to Yibin to join the Fourth Front Army. After Lin Biao led the army to conquer bing'an, he set up the army headquarters and the division headquarters of the second red division in the ancient town of bing'an and conducted the famous battles of bing'an, Fuxingchang and Huangpi cave. On the 28th, he was ordered to return to Tucheng to ensure the Red Army's smooth crossing of Chishui, which opened the prelude of the Red Army's "four crossing of Chishui" campaign.

The exhibition hall of the 1st Red Army Corps of bing'an is one of the 30 national Red Tourism boutique lines and 100 national Red Tourism classic scenic spots announced by 13 ministries and commissions including the national development and Reform Commission and the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee in March 2005. Due to the disrepair for a long time, in order to improve the collection conditions and enrich the exhibition, the museum was restored to its original appearance in October 2008 with the approval of the relevant national and provincial departments . The renovated exhibition hall covers an area of 174 square meters. It has two floors, covering an area of 348 square meters. The exhibition line is 130 meters long, covering an area of 390 square meters. The exhibition contents are divided into four parts: commanding troops in Northwest Guizhou, fighting in Chishui, Sidu Chishui and red bing'an, including important battles, soldiers list of the first Red Army, revolutionary memoirs, enemy and our military archives and important revolutionary sites, There are 278 pictures and 128 cultural relics on display, including 63 precious cultural relics. It fully shows the arduous process of the Red Army's long march in Chishui and the eternal historical memory of the first Red Army in bing'an.

The exhibition hall of the first Red Army Corps of bing'an officially opened, which will become another highlight of China's red tourism and youth patriotism education base. It aims at remembering the great achievements of the Red Army soldiers, inheriting and learning the long march spirit of the revolutionary predecessors, passing on the long march spirit and inspiring the future generations.
