Architectural philosophy
The main building "Jiulong Tuzhu" runs up and down with the central axis of "Yusheng ancestral temple" and its back storehouse. There are eight "four points of gold" distributed on both sides, catering to the concept of Chaoshan residence advocating "Zhong", which is the embodiment of Confucian orthodoxy in Chinese traditional architectural culture
In Chinese culture and morality, we advocate "Neutralization" externally, pay attention to "moderation" internally, respect "moderation" in doing things, and "moderation" in being a person. "Yusheng ancestral hall" is the core of the whole building group, and the plaque "Yusheng ancestral hall" is inscribed by Mr. Sun Yiqing, President of the Chinese poetry society. The whole ancestral hall is a three entrance hall, which is divided into hall, front hall and back hall. One entrance is higher than one entrance. This form of low front and high back is the rule of ancestral hall architecture in Guangdong, which symbolizes rising step by step. The front hall is used to receive guests. This is the place where the elders of the Wu clan hold meetings and discuss business. The back hall is used to worship the ancestral tablets. It is the place where the people worship their ancestors. The outdoor roof is decorated with the special inlaid porcelain craft of Chaoshan folk houses. The roof is a hard top structure with a bucket beam frame. The indoor red beams and blue Jue, carved beams and painted buildings are various in theme and vivid in shape They are all made by Chaoshan folk traditional craftsmen. Standing in this magnificent art palace, it gives people the feeling of "Chaozhou house, made in the Imperial Palace". What's more valuable is that there are many famous calligraphers and painters' calligraphy and paintings in the temple, such as Shi Shuqing, Shen Peng, Wang Xuezhong, Wang Qi, sun Yiqing, Liu Dawei, Liu Yi, Guo Yajun, etc The perfect combination of chemical gems is the fascinating place in ming'anli.
