Jiugong village is located in shibanchong Township in the southwest of Lu'an City, 30 kilometers away from Lu'an City, facing Hengpaitou tourist area across the Pi River. At an altitude of 349 meters, it belongs to the northern branch of the Dabie Mountains.

Project background

Pishihang is one of the three largest artificial irrigation areas in China. Experts at home and abroad call it "a bright pearl in the history of China's water conservancy construction". Many party and state leaders have come here to inspect it. The main canal of Pi River crosses Lu'an City, and the tourism resources along the river are rich, mainly covering the following scenic spots: first, the water scenery, namely Hengpaitou National Water Conservancy Scenic Spot; second, the ruins, namely business and cultural tourism in Lu'an ancient city, gaotao ruins, Dushan revolutionary site group, the former site of Liu Deng army temporary headquarters, General Xu Shiyou building, martyr Xu Jishen cemetery; third, the cultural heritage The geographical ecological type is jiugongzhai, longjinggou and other mountain landscape. Many of the above are national protection units and 3a or above scenic spots, with high grade scenic spots and resource level above level 4. Moreover, through the strategy of attracting investment and diversified investment, the construction of several scenic spots has a certain foundation. The average annual growth rate of domestic tourists is more than 10%, and the economic and social benefits have been significantly reflected.

Construction scale and content

The project is a continuation project. The main construction contents include: (1) widening and upgrading the tourist roads from Qingshan to Hengpaitou to jiugongzhai and from longjinggou to huangchaojian; (2) comprehensive renovation of three mountaineering roads from longjinggou, huangchaojian and jiugongzhai; (3) continuation of three tourist reception and exhibition centers from longjinggou, huangchaojian and jiugongzhai; (4) continuation of Hengpaitou beach bathing place and wetland picnic Sports; 5. Expand two parking lots in jiugongzhai and longjinggou; 6. Build a new Pishihang Water Conservancy Museum; 7. Restore and reconstruct the roads, houses and revolutionary sites in Dushan old street, and build a 4A level red tourist attraction. ⑧ Mingde commercial street in Subu was restored and rebuilt, and tongshanzhai camping base was built.

The total investment of the project is 676.8 million yuan.

Project benefit analysis

After the completion of the project, it can produce obvious economic benefits. According to the analysis and prediction of the expert feasibility study report, the number of domestic tourists will reach 800000 in 2011 and 1 million in 2015, with considerable economic benefits.

After the completion of the project, to a certain extent, it will drive the people in the old revolutionary base areas to get rid of poverty and become rich, which is conducive to expanding employment and promoting the development of various social undertakings. On the basis of environmental impact assessment, the development along both sides of the river will further optimize the living environment.

Cooperation mode

The plan will be implemented in three years. Some enterprises have injected 220 million yuan and applied for an additional 80 million yuan of tourism infrastructure investment within the central budget in 2008. The remaining 378.6 million yuan will be raised by the government, enterprises, cultural relics, tourism and other departments and individuals or invested in joint ventures at a discount.

Main attractions

AAAA Jiugong village scenic area is one of the eight ancient scenes in Lu'an, known as "Lotus Buddha miaogaotai, Lingshan Jiugong village in West Anhui".

Jiugong village is surrounded by mountains. The isolated peaks stand as high as a towering lotus. At the foot of the mountain, the East and West PI rivers meet, and the waves and flowers are magnificent. There are mountains, cliffs, cliffs, valleys, waterfalls, lakes, ditches, deep pools and waterscape. There are Gaofeng temple, yingmen temple, Longxing Temple, Yuantong Temple, Wangjiang temple, Tudi temple, Wuchang temple and so on. There are birds singing in the mountains and streams, and there are beautiful trees. It has always been a famous Taoist temple in Lu'an.

Jiugong village gets its name from folklore. It is said that the Southern Dynasty "Liang" (502-557 A.D.) Emperor Xiao Yan, who lived more than 1500 years ago, visited zhongjiugong village and built a temple here. At that time, there were few people, and all the building materials were supplied by nine people (namely Jiugong) at the foot of the mountain. The names of the people in the mountains are not recorded in the historical records. Later generations only from their appearance characteristics, respectively, called them bearded male, Haomei male, Chui Er male, PIFA male, broad kiss male, Xiumu male, zhengbi male, long arm male, Jian foot male. Their work is very hard. The reason why "jianzugong" is lame is that he was smashed when he was carrying rocks. Over the years, all nine of them are old and weak. On the day when the temple was built, when the nine people were about to reach the top of the mountain, there was a sudden storm and a thunderbolt. The nine people immediately went up to heaven and turned into stone people. Later generations named the temple "Jiugong Temple" (later renamed "Gaofeng Temple") in memory of Jiugong. "Nine stones are like people", hence the name of Jiugong village.

Jiugong village is famous for its majestic mountains, precipice, cliff and valley. It is also famous for its strong rivers, green mountains and lakes, clear streams and clear pools.
