Longlin mountain

Lin mountain, formerly known as Ma Mingshan, was renamed Longlin mountain after textual research on the historical records of inscriptions. Located 15 kilometers northwest of Qingxu County, Shanxi Province, with an altitude of 1258 meters and a radius of dozens of square kilometers, it is covered with pines and cypresses, evergreen all the year round and fresh air. Fanyu temple is located at the foot of Longlin mountain. The environment of the temple is elegant and the flowers and trees are flourishing. There is a dragon head. The spring water is continuous all the year round, and the dragon head spring is extremely sweet.

Longlin mountain has beautiful mountains and beautiful scenery. Fanyu temple is located in the middle of the Millennium ancient temple. It is surrounded by more than 2600 mu of natural cypress pine mixed dwarf forest and more than 600 mu of Platycladus orientalis plantation, which make the mountains very beautiful. When you enter it, you will see the green and forest sea, with temples, white pagodas, pavilions and ponds. You can hear all kinds of birds singing gently. Here is a warm temperate continental climate, spring, summer, autumn and winter, four distinct seasons, winter is cold and less snow, spring is dry and windy, summer is hot, but no high temperature and heat, rainy season is concentrated, autumn is short and clear. The annual average temperature is 6.5 ℃ ~ 9 ℃, the monthly average temperature is - 7.2 ℃, the summer average temperature is 19.5 ℃ ~ 22.3 ℃, and the frost free period is 150 ~ 165 days. The annual precipitation is 500-600 mm. In the hot season, it is a natural summer resort. Here is a Longchi cave. Natural mineral water flows all year round. The content of trace element free strontium in the water is 15 times that of normal water. Taking it for a long time can prolong life.

Main attractions

Longlin mountain is surrounded by baishigou, shijiaogou, dongliangyan and Yangyan, forming a unique mountain landscape and a natural isolation zone to prevent forest fire. There are six villages scattered on both sides of the gully, such as xishijiao, dongshijiao, Jiangou, niandi, donggetaitou and xigetaitou. The villagers manage vineyards, apricot orchards, peach orchards, apple orchards, walnut, jujube, persimmon, hawthorn, Toona sinensis and other fruit trees and vegetables. Visitors can see the orchard landscape and taste local specialties when they come in different seasons.

Taking a comprehensive view of the landscape distribution of Longlin mountain, a three ring pattern is formed, with Fanyu temple as the center, natural cypress pine forest as the inner ring landscape, and village orchard as the outer ring landscape. Longlin mountain, with green mountains and beautiful waters, evergreen pines and cypresses, embraces the Fanyu temple, a thousand year old temple. On the slope sits the Manjusri stone pagoda of the Tang Dynasty, and on the peak stands the monument to the victory of the Anti Japanese war. It has beautiful scenery, charming scenery, picturesque scenery all year round. It is a beautiful tourist and summer resort.

During the war of resistance against Japan and the war of liberation, this was the frontier of the Jin Sui revolutionary base, where a large number of our troops were stationed. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the broad masses of the people in Longlin mountain area fought with the Japanese aggressors and Jiang Yan regime, and made immortal contributions to the establishment of the people's Republic of China. In particular, many warm-blooded youths gave their precious lives. In order not to forget the past and carry on the cause for the future, the Qingxu County Party committee and the Qingxu County People's government not only listed it as a scenic spot, but also designated it as a base for receiving nationalist education.

Historical legend

There is a beautiful legend about the origin of the name of Longlin mountain.

It is said that Manjusri preached in Wutai Mountain a long time ago. At that time, Wutai Mountain was not the same as it is now. Wufeng mountain stood up in a bad climate. In winter, water dropped into ice, in spring, sand and stone flew away, in summer, it was very hot, and the crops often failed. The common people sighed. Seeing this, Manjusri decided to change the climate. He turned into an old man and went to the Dragon King of the East China Sea to borrow the Xielong stone, because he knew that with this stone, the bad weather would turn around immediately.

When Manjusri came to the East China Sea, he saw that there was a stone outside the Dragon Palace. Before he came, he felt a cool air coming. Manjusri Bodhisattva was led into the Dragon Palace by the Sea Patrol yecha. When he met the Dragon King, he explained his intention. The Dragon King was very sorry and said, "the grand master can borrow anything, but this Xielong stone can't supply. Because it took hundreds of years to get it from the bottom of the deep sea. It's very cool. When my sons came back from work, they were sweating and hot, so they took a rest on it. If you borrow it, there will be no place for them to rest when they come back. " Manjusri, however, explained that he was an old monk of Wufeng mountain. In order to benefit the world, he came to ask for help.

The old Dragon King estimated that xielongshi weighed ten thousand jin. A skinny old monk could not go far away, so he agreed with him. Manjusri, thanking the Dragon King, came to the Xielong stone and recited a mantra to turn the stone into a bullet. He stuffed the stone into his sleeve and said goodbye.

When Manjusri returned to Wufeng mountain, it was summer when the sun was burning and grass could not grow. When Manjusri settled the Xielong stone, Wufeng mountain became very cool. He built a temple in Qingliang, named "Qingliang Temple", which served as his ashram, and the mountain was also called Qingliang mountain.

After Manjusri took the stone, the little dragons who worked outside came back. When he found out that the monk of Wufeng mountain had taken it away, he quickly chased it to Wufeng mountain and made a big fuss. The angry little dragons use the dragon tail to make the top of Wufeng mountain a platform, looking for the Xielong stone everywhere. At this time, Manjusri Bodhisattva appeared, he told the little dragons, the dragon stone is in the secret magic rock, you go to get it, the little dragons rush to drill in, the little dragons just drill in, Manjusri Bodhisattva a spell, the two rocks quickly closed, the little dragons in the stone.

There is a little white dragon who is very smart. He thinks that if the old monk can carry away the xielongshi, he will surely be able to subdue him. Instead of drilling into the rock with his brothers, he runs southwest. He feels the sound of chasing as he flies. When I came to gengyang, I saw a piece of pine and Berlin in the Northwest Mountain. Smelling the exotic fragrance, I rushed down and hid in the forest, and put my head deep into the ground. After stopping for a while, he felt that Wei was suffocating, so he raised his head a little and felt that his breath was smooth. He was afraid that Manjusri would come after him and subdue him, so he hid here all the time. As time goes on, little dragon will turn into a mountain. People call him Longlin mountain. The local dialect will raise its head a little, which is called "getoutou". Because Bruce Lee's head has been slightly raised there, the village where Longtou is located is called Getai. As a result, the village at Longwei is Jiangou village.

The dragon in Longlin mountain is located in the northwest of Longtou, in the southeast of donggetaitou. The body of the dragon goes from south to north, then east, to the west of Shijiao village, then south, and the tail of the dragon is in the north of Jiangou village. Some scholars call him Panlong, others call him Wolong. It is said in the gazetteer of Qingxu County, getaitou: "it is said that the mountains behind this village are like dragons, and the village is located at the head of dragons, so it is named getaitou." He Tang, the magistrate of the Qing Dynasty, said in his poem, "the river is full of white stones lined with green pines, and the mountains are full of hidden dragons." These records are all about the dragon in Longlin mountain.
