The shenting Hall of Zhouzhuang is located on the South Street of Dongtu, Fu'an bridge in Zhouzhuang. It is the largest residential building in Zhouzhuang. It was built by Shen Benren, a descendant of Shen Wansan, a wealthy businessman in the south of the Yangtze River, in 1742. Seven into five gatehouse, deep courtyard, winding corridor. There are more than 100 houses with an area of more than 2000 square meters. Shen hall in Zhouzhuang is a typical architectural pattern of "front hall and back hall". Shenting, with its magnificent atmosphere, exquisite layout and exquisite utensils, is listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.

It was built by Shen Benren, a descendant of Shen Wansan, in 1742 of the Qing Dynasty. Seven into five gatehouse, the size of more than 100 houses, distributed on both sides of the 100 meter long axis, covering an area of more than 2000 square meters. Shen hall is composed of three parts. The front part is the water wall gate and the river port, which are used by families to dock ships and wash clothes; the middle part is the wall gate tower, tea hall and main hall, which are used to pick up and see off guests, handle wedding and funeral affairs and discuss business; the rear part is the lobby building, small hall building and back hall house, which are used for living.

The whole hall is a typical architectural pattern of "front hall and back hall". The front and rear rooms are connected by the crossing tower and the corridor Pavilion. It forms a huge Zoumalou. The main hall is Songmao hall, covering an area of 170 square meters. The brick gate tower in the main hall of the imperial court is the most majestic of the five gates, with a height of 6 meters. The plaque in the center is' accumulated thick and flowing light ', surrounded by relief sculptures of' Hongmei Yingchun '. The carved characters, animals, pavilions, theatrical stories, etc. are lifelike and vivid, which can be compared with the brick gate tower in Suzhou net Lion Garden. After the hall building, the architectural style is very different from the main hall. The renovated Shen hall is listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Jiangsu Province. Shen hall, formerly known as Jingye hall, was changed into Songmao hall in the late Qing Dynasty. It was built in 1742 by Shen Benren, a descendant of Shen Wansan. According to the records of Zhouzhuang Town in the Qing Dynasty, "Shen Benren was fond of evil travel in his early years, and all his friends were bandits. As for his father, someone said, "within three years, he will give up his family." When Benren heard of it, he still bought wine, called all bandits to drink, and gave money to them. He told them, "our party is the support door, so we can't travel with you!" As a result, he closed his door to thank his guests and managed agriculture, so he lived in Daye hall, and built a dedicated house with more than 100 rafters and thousands of acres of fertile land.
