Liangfengjiang National Forest Park

Liangfengjiang National Forest Park

Liangfengjiang Forest Park is the earliest national forest park approved by the Ministry of forestry in Guangxi, covering an area of about 70000 mu. Located in the southern suburb of Nanning, 7 kilometers away from the urban area, the road from the urban area to the airport runs through the hinterland of the park. The park is surrounded by mountains and water, with luxuriant trees, grass, wild flowers, birds and insects. It is a beautiful natural scenery. The predecessor of the park is Nanning Arboretum. Liangfengjiang National Forest Park was established in 1992 with the approval of the former Ministry of forestry. Local products

Mainly tropical fruits, flowers and seedlings, sika deer series of health products. There are 138.0hm2 economic fruit trees in the park. The main varieties are litchi, longan, citrus, plum, Phyllanthus emblica and other tropical fruits. Sika deer is a rare animal under the first class national protection. Sika deer has very high medicinal value. Its main medicinal parts are antlers before ossification (i.e. antler), antler paste, deer whip wine and other advanced tonics made from antler.

Camellia

Camellia chrysantha is an ancient plant, extremely rare, extremely narrow distribution, 90% of the world's wild camellia chrysantha is only distributed in China's Fangchenggang City, 100000 mountains of Lanshan Branch area, growing below 700 meters above sea level, 200-500 meters above sea level range is more common, the lower limit of vertical distribution is about 20 meters above sea level. For example, Camellia japonica is still distributed in the Coastal Hilly platform near dawangjiang River in Fangcheng county. The upper limit of vertical distribution can reach 890 meters above sea level. For example, a few small petals of Camellia chrysantha can still be seen in nataoda mountain of Ningming County, which is a rare and precious plant in the world. It is one of the eight first-class protected plants in China. It belongs to the plant species in Appendix II of the Convention on international trade in endangered species of wild animals and plants.
