Shicheng Museum

Shicheng museum is located at Baotaping tourist pier in Fengjie, which is about 20 kilometers away from the famous Baidi city. Shicheng Museum has 15 exhibition halls, covering an area of nearly 3000 square meters. It shows the civilization of the Three Gorges and ancient mysterious human remains, inheriting the survival, life and feelings of the Ba people. In Baotaping, Fengjie County, Chongqing, there is an antique building with three floors and one floor, which is far away from the famous Baidi city.

Development history

The light yellow exterior wall is a typical ancient style of Fengjie residence at the beginning of last century, while the house displays Fengjie, the only historical and cultural city in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, a large number of cultural relics from prehistoric to modern times. The Fengjie "Shicheng Museum" was built by one person for several years, witnessing the historical and cultural changes of the Three Gorges. Its owner is Zhao Guilin.

In October 2002, the museum broke ground in Baotaping.

On March 17, 2004, the construction of the museum was completed. Because Li Bai, Du Fu and other great poets left many beautiful sentences in Fengjie, Zhao Guilin took a nice name "Shicheng Museum". Although the "Shicheng Museum" has ordinary appearance and backward display conditions, it can be called a "world-class" museum. There are Fengjie ancient human and animal fossil data provided by Huang Wanbo, the discoverer of "Wushan people" and professor of Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which have pushed the history of Chinese ancient human forward for hundreds of thousands of years; here are Kuimen steel wire of Three Gorges which kekelun and Adili competed to walk through in those years; here are all the data of British and French explorers surveying the Tiankeng fissure in Fengjie.

Cultural connotation

From an ancient yufuba people living and reproducing in Qutang gorge to a large county with millions of people, from a small border town to Kuizhou Road, from the four migrations of the city to the historical dramas played by emperors and generals here, from bricks and tiles of Tang Dynasty to furniture of Ming and Qing Dynasties, all of them tell us the brilliant history of this land years. Successive leaders

The curator's name is Zhao Guilin. According to the commentator, Zhao Guilin was born in Fengjie, Chongqing. Now he is the curator of Fengjie Shicheng Museum. Secretary General of Chongqing Three Kingdoms culture research association, member of Chongqing writers, dramatists and Photographers Association. He has successively served as a teacher, screenwriter, deputy director of the Cultural Bureau, deputy director of the Propaganda Department, director of the cultural commission, Secretary of the Party group of the County Tourism Bureau, etc. He has published nearly one million words of novels, essays, dramas, poems and other works, such as "Baidi city", "tiankengdijian", "Shicheng Fengjie", "Dazu stone carving", "Three Gorges Zhuzhici", "heroes in troubled times" and so on.
