Lingshan cave was once called Yunquan cave. It's on Lingshan mountain in the southwest suburb of Hangzhou. Lingshan cave is named for its colorful scenery and variety. The cave wall is engraved with the words "six years of the Ming Dynasty", more than 1500 years ago. Different from other places, this cave is of shaft type, with a height difference of 109m. The total area is more than 4000 square meters. There are five halls in the cave: Qilin Yingbin, shuidi Dongtian, saikunlun, Tianzhu hall and Dayun basin.

Lingshan cave

Introduction to scenic spots

Lingshan cave is located in Hangzhou Fuchun River. The main cavern Hall of Lingshan cave is more than 100 meters high, and there are more than 100 small caverns, which are divided into two large caverns and four floor cavern hall. The total length of the tunnel is about 400 meters. Stalagmites are towering in the cave, stone waterfalls are falling, and stalactites are everywhere. Among them, the "tianzhufeng" Stalagmite in the center of Xiadong cave is 24.5 meters high and 5-s meters in diameter. It is the largest stalagmite found in karst caves in Zhejiang Province.

Lingshan cave is located in Xihu District of Hangzhou city. It was the site of the famous "ten sceneries of Hubu". It is about 15 kilometers away from the urban area. On the cliff of Yunquan cave in history, there is still a seal inscription of "Yunquan Lingdong" which was not selected by Hangzhou Taishou Zu in 1069. Poets and writers of the Tang and Song Dynasties, such as Bai Juyi, Fan Zhongyan, Su Dongpo and Zhu Xi, often come here for sightseeing, but also leave some relics.

Lingshan cave, also known as "Lingshan mirage", is a shaft type limestone layered karst cave, which is famous for its "tall, majestic, open and spectacular". The cave is tall and deep, wide and strange, with overlapping loops. Tianzhu peak is 24.5 meters high, 6 meters in diameter, covering an area of 12 square meters. It is difficult for 12 people to surround it. It is the first Cave Stalagmite in Asia and the second in the world. The nearly 50 meter long TIANTI stone stack constitutes the interest of climbing in the cave, which is rare in many cave landscapes in China.

Xianqiao cave is "Xianqiao Biejing", 280 meters away from Lingshan cave. There are many strange rocks in the cave. The terrain is very dangerous. When you visit it, you have to go up and down 18 times and bypass 36 bends. It is full of adventure and exciting.

Between the wonderland of Lingshan and the other wonderland of Xianqiao, there is the "Lingshan Buddha" with a kind face and blue sky and white clouds on its back. There are 20 groups of huge musical instruments, forming a "road of drumming". When you cross the mountain top trail, you will feel that Lingshan is not only beautiful, but also warm.

In addition, there is a natural mountain Dawu basin that has not yet been opened. It is surrounded by mountains, quiet environment, lush trees and fresh air. It is known as the "paradise" by the West Lake. Jiuqu Hongmei tea, one of the top ten famous teas in China, is produced here.

Lingshan scenic area integrates the karst cave landscape of the world, and integrates "wind, water, cloud and waterfall" into one. It can be called "the first cave of West Lake". The picturesque stone scenery and natural ecological environment will make you linger on.

Interior landscape

Lingshan mirage is the main scenic spot in the scenic area. When you enter the entrance of the cave, there is a gentle breeze and a flowing spring. Colorful halo accompanied by dingdong dripping water, flowing and changing in the strange and colorful rocks. In the lower cave, in the dim light, four or five halls are connected into one, meandering and far-reaching, which makes the cave feel surprisingly tall. The cave is decorated with stalagmites and stalagmites on the four walls. The rocks are in various shapes, like birds and animals, like flowers and Buddha. The subtleties are indescribable. On the left side of the central hall, the whole stone wall forms a giant waterfall, tens of meters high and tens of meters wide. It is all made of lotus like stalactite blocks. It is like clouds and snow. It is powerful and magnificent. It seems that the eardrum is full of the roar of the waterfall, and I feel that my body is shaking with it. There is a special feeling of "silence is better than sound here". What's different is the regular stone ridges on the ground at the bottom of the cave, which are scattered high and low, and are infiltrated by groundwater, like the concentration of the continuous great wall, more like the bonsai of terraces and fields. This is a rare geological phenomenon "cloud basin", which has been formed by the deposition of underground calcium carbonate solution for millions of years.

In the center of the largest cave hall, a huge stalagmite rises from the ground. It is 24.5 meters high, 6 meters in diameter, and covers an area of 20 square meters. Twelve people are hard to surround each other. No wonder it attracts tourists' continuous camera flashes. Behind the stalagmites, there are zigzag stone stairs decorated with strings of colored lanterns to guide people to climb the cave, Qingxu cave. Climbing to the platform at a height of 30 meters, looking back and looking down, the cave is as far-reaching and broad as a giant room and a wide valley. The top of the cave is shrouded in mist, which is even more profound. All the stone scenes are prostrate, and the pillars and stalagmites stand out in them, just like the pillars of the Optimus, towering, giving people a sublime beauty. From a distance, the deep part of the cave is zigzag and secluded, and the psychedelic and mysterious feeling experienced at the entrance of the cave returns to my heart.

The landscape of the upper cave is different from that of the lower cave. The sky ladder, the wind corridor, the waterfall, the double column low hall, the winding path leading to the seclusion, and the primitive caves are arranged one after another, like a group of exquisite and complicated Suzhou gardens. The unique personality and lively rhythm, like a lively modern dance music, stir up the pleasure in the hearts of visitors, aesthetic taste to get a new transformation. Two noisy waterfalls, one big and one small, from top to bottom, carrying the water potential, with a huge echo, roar into the pool, stirring up bright water, making the cave hall full of vitality and dynamism. Turning around the winding passage, the sound of the water is just hidden, and a simple and elegant sound of the zither lingers around people's body. The willows are dark and the flowers are bright. Although the double column hall is low, it is flat and spacious, and can accommodate hundreds of people without feeling crowded. Su Dongpo's poems are engraved on the wall, adding a bit of charm. The beautiful sound of Qin sounds like flowing water. It is elegant, charming and quiet, just like stepping into a dreamlike realm. People who understand the rhythm can also hear the Guqin music "high mountains and flowing water". Slowly forward, into a new channel, Qin song changed to "sunshine three fold", that is a farewell poem. Oh, is it telling people that the cave tour is coming to an end? Generally speaking, the heat flow is coming from the entrance of Lingshan peak. A ray of sky light vertically into a cave, this is the original hole, the wall is smooth, it is impossible to climb. Looking at it, people can imagine the adventure people have experienced the strange and tempting taste. Standing on the viewing platform at the top of the mountain, you can see the panoramic view of the scenic spot and the shining Qiantang River in the distance. People feel that they have come back to reality. The empty cave believes that their feet are empty.
