The total area of Chengguo site is about 47 square kilometers, with a trapezoid shape of wide in the South and narrow in the north. Park Planning
The Sui and Tang Dynasty ruins botanical garden is planned and designed by Beijing Forestry University, covering a total area of 191 hectares (about 2868 mu). It is a comprehensive botanical garden based on the landscape, plants and Sui and Tang Dynasty ruins culture of Luoyang, cultural relics protection and promoting the development of local biological industry as the premise, with scientific research, science and education, production and cultural entertainment as the main functions.

Mulan Qiong garden is located in the north central part of the botanical garden, covering an area of about 19900 square meters. The garden is characterized by the multi flower and beautiful tree shape of Magnolia subclass, with the multi flower shrubs and ground cover as the middle and lower layers, combined with the flowering trees of Magnolia subclass to create a beautiful atmosphere of spring scenery. There are 27 Magnolia varieties in the park, including Jingxin magnolia, Honghe magnolia, Tianmu magnolia, Xinqi magnolia, Baohua magnolia, etc. There are 9 species of Lonicera and 13 species of Podocarpus.
