The National Museum of marine life is located at the foot of Guishan mountain in the northwest of Kenting National Park. It is a large-scale museum with the theme of marine life.
There are three exhibition halls in the Museum: Taiwan waters hall, coral kingdom hall and world waters hall. The wavy roofs of the buildings, together with the mountain and sea scenery, represent the spirit of water. They are hung on the 21 meter high hall, symbolizing the marine biological model leading the people to the sea, which makes the museum full of strong marine flavor. The undersea tunnel allows visitors to travel freely through the artificial ocean landscape.
If you have plenty of time, you can also have a night stay at the marine health center and enjoy the unique experience of sleeping with dolphins and penguins.
