Venue composition
overview
The construction area of Daqing Museum exhibition hall is 18700 square meters, and the exhibition hall area is 12000 square meters.
Daqing museum is divided into three floors. The first floor is divided into Hall A, B and C. Hall A is the public hall, Hall B is the Northeast quaternary natural environment exhibition, and Hall C is the temporary exhibition hall. On the second floor, there is only hall D, which is the Northeast quaternary mammal Exhibition. On the third floor, there are hall E and hall F. hall e is the Daqing ancient human civilization exhibition, and hall f is the science and technology report hall.
There are three basic displays in Daqing Museum: "northeast quaternary natural environment display", "northeast quaternary mammal display", "Daqing ancient human civilization display".
"Northeast quaternary natural environment" mainly shows the evolution process of Daqing natural ecology and the richness of resources. Quaternary mammals in Northeast China focuses on the evolution of Quaternary mammals, the discovery and research of Quaternary in China and abroad, the collection and protection of Quaternary fossils in Daqing Museum, the relationship between Quaternary and human beings, and the interactive demonstration of shelf mounting. Ancient human civilization in Daqing area focuses on the diversity, uniqueness and importance of ancient people's culture.
Exhibition hall
Exhibition area 1: Quaternary natural environment in Northeast China
The exhibition area of northeast quaternary natural environment of Daqing Museum belongs to the category of natural history. It mainly shows the evolution process of Daqing natural ecology and the richness of resources. The exhibition hall is in an irregular flat U shape. The length of the line is up to 5 meters. The exhibition has a long history and rich and colorful contents, which can be divided into four units: "entering the Quaternary", "exploring the ancient Great Lakes", "analyzing the ancient environment" and "pursuing the ancient animals".
Into the Quaternary
"Into the Quaternary", the comprehensive use of text description, chart display, mechanical sand table, landscape restoration, lake bottom landscape and other display means, and with three forms of multimedia display, set sound and photoelectric in one.
Explore the ancient Great Lakes
"Exploring the ancient Great Lakes" uses plain language to organically combine the origin and condition of Daqing Lake wetland with Quaternary Geology and geomorphology, intuitively and scientifically narrate the underwater ecology and the formation and evolution process of ancient geology and geomorphology. By expounding the acquisition and analysis of drill core, sedimentation rate and paleomagnetic test, people can intuitively understand the inferential process of scientists' conclusions on the specific scope, evolution and formation age of the ancient great lake. People can also watch the ring screen movie "exploring the ancient Great Lake" in a small theater. At the same time, four sand tables are set up to demonstrate the formation, change and disappearance of the ancient Songliao lake. "Quaternary memorabilia" is a restored quaternary stratigraphic wall with an area of 104 square meters. At the same time, there are 40 meters long quaternary rock core columns collected by the museum, and sliding TV is used. When the display screen moves to the location of the year when important events occurred in the Quaternary development history, the screen will immediately display a detailed picture and text introduction to tell the audience about the events of the Quaternary period, which lasted for 2.58 million years.
Analysis of Paleoenvironment
"Analysis of the ancient environment" starts from the analysis of what fossils are and the formation process of fossils, and uses display boards, models, restored landscapes and a large number of lifelike animal specimens to show the features of the Quaternary grassland environment, forest environment, lake and wetland environment in Northeast China.
Searching for ancient animals
"Searching for ancient animals" is accompanied by a long music. People can enjoy the multimedia pictures of elephants, wildebeests and zebras migrating in groups. They cross rivers and plains, facing the dusk in the sun. Images of animals extinct in the late Pleistocene show mammoths, rhinoceros, bison, deer and so on. There are also huge restoration models of mammoths and bighorn deer standing at the exit of the first exhibition area.
Exhibition area 2: Quaternary mammals in Northeast China
The exhibition area of northeast quaternary mammals in Daqing Museum belongs to the category of natural history. Based on the clues of taxonomic description, evolutionary comparison, discovery and research, collection and protection, the exhibition shows a large number of precious quaternary mammal fossils, and reveals the breeding process of the Quaternary mammoth rhinoceros fauna in Northeast China. The exhibition area is divided into four units: "magical hairy giant", "rich animal population", "prosperous grassland army" and "unremitting exploration and research". Daqing Museum has successfully collected 43 genera and species, which fills the gap in the collection of fossil system of this fauna in China. It has high academic and research value and display value.
The magical hairy beast
This paper introduces the origin and evolution of noses, the classification and evolution of mammoths, and the discovery of mammoths in Daqing area. Among the mammoths, the two real mammoths who hold their heads high are the "treasures of the town museum" of Daqing Museum. One of them was unearthed in Binxian County, Heilongjiang Province in 2002. When standing, it was 3.35 meters high and 6.5 meters long. The fossil integrity rate of the same individual was more than 85%. After being collected by Daqing Museum, this rare and precious skeleton fossil of real mammoth was successfully mounted with the careful research and efforts of paleontologists in the museum, which was reported by CCTV news. Another true mammoth skeleton fossil was found in Qinggang, Heilongjiang Province in 2009. It is 4.35 meters high and 7.5 meters long when standing. The fossil integrity rate of the same individual is more than 90%. It is the largest and most complete true mammoth skeleton found in China. There are also touching fossils on the side for visitors.
Abundant animal population
The "rich animal population" shows many animal members in the mammoth rhinoceros fauna, such as Rodentia, Carnivora, Lagomorpha, schizodactyla and Artiodactyla.
Flourishing grassland Army
The "prosperous grassland army" is a channel for the display of Quaternary ancient animals. It is a huge "boiling cattle group" composed of 50 cattle fossil skeletons. Each cow has its own shape and manner. On the wall next to the exhibition, 105 skulls of bison are displayed. The wall is quiet, peaceful and full of fun, which is in contrast to the running bison herd. The exhibition area also has "ice waterfall cinema" and multimedia interactive console.
Unremitting exploration and research
"Unremitting exploration and research" introduces the unusual development of Daqing Museum in the process of Quaternary exploration and research in Northeast China since it established a research group with experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002, as well as the careful preparation for future scientific research institutes.
The third exhibition area: ancient human civilization in Daqing area
The exhibition area of ancient human civilization in Daqing area of Daqing Museum belongs to the category of social history. The exhibition area is the epitome of the ancient history and culture of Daqing area, which bears the functions of the dissemination of history and culture and education. The key point of the design is to use time series, scene restoration (miniature landscape), multimedia, sand table, sculpture, plate and other display means to display the calendar
