Luxi River

Luxi River, located in Shangrao County of Luxi River in Jiangxi Province, is a tributary of Xinjiang River. Among them, you pass Shanglu Town, so it is named Luxi river. Upstream, there is the largest artificial lake DAAO reservoir in Shangrao, which originated in the north of Wuyi Mountain. The lower reaches pass through Shixi River, so it is also called Shixi River. In Qianshan County, Shangrao City, Shixi meets Xinjiang River.

DAAO reservoir

Also called Fengze lake, it is located in wufushan basin. Wufu mountain is 1891.4 meters above sea level. It is expected to be named after Guangxin mansion and Raozhou mansion in Jiangxi Province, Nanping mansion in Fujian Province, Quzhou mansion and Jinhua mansion in Zhejiang Province. Wufu mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist, which is famous for its beautiful scenery and pleasant climate.

The name of Luxi River actually has a double name. One is Luxi River in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, and the other is Luxi River in Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province. The Luxi River in Shangrao city is the first relatively large tributary of Xinjiang River after connecting with Fengxi river.

The Luxi River in Shangrao flows into the Xinjiang River at Shixi, Ehu Town, Qianshan County, but not at Hekou Town, Qianshan County. For this reason, Luxi river is often called "Shixi River". The biggest characteristic of Shixi is the largest river in qianrao: Luxi river. Luxi river is abundant, upstream in Luxi town has the largest water conservancy project in Shangrao area: DAAO HYDROPOWER STATION, also known as fengzehu reservoir. The water quality of Luxi river is excellent. The water source of Shangrao City and Shangrao County has been changed from Xinjiang River to this river.

Natural ecology

Many people who swim across the Luxi River in bamboo rafts compare the Luxi river with the Lijiang River and make a comment that it is "similar to the Lijiang River in shape". However, on the basis of openness, nature, wildness and water quality, they are generally recognized as "better than the Lijiang River". Bamboo rafts start to drift from ShangQingzhen wharf. First of all, there is a thick bamboo forest on the left bank. The bamboo forest is green, swaying in the wind, graceful and graceful. The tourists lie in the embrace of bamboo forest and green water, far away from the hardships of the hustle and bustle, forgetting the idea of fame and wealth. With the completion of DAAO reservoir, the largest water conservancy project in Shangrao area, a key water conservancy project in Jiangxi Province, the 9.5 square kilometers wide water surface adds to its beautiful scenery and enchanting charm. Because the center of the reservoir is located in the legendary fairyland of the town - "seven stars catching the moon", it is named "Seven Star Lake".

The birth of Qixing lake makes Wufu mountain, a magical and beautiful place, realize the perfect combination of mountain and water. In addition, there are many famous woody flowers and many national protected rare animals and plants in the lake area. There are many famous cultural relics such as "Shengtang Temple" and "Jianggong Temple", scenic spots such as "Jinzhong waterfall" and "Jinpen carp culture" and Red Army HaoLing battle ruins. It's admirable to sit in a row and watch the life of mountain people on both sides of the Strait. There are many ducks in Luxi River, including adult ducks and ducklings. Adult ducks sing and gag in groups; ducklings have their own system, or talk in the Bay, or exercise in shallow water, and their tender feathers add a little childish (the picture on the right shows cormorants on the river). Shangu, a village woman washing vegetables and drying clothes by the river, a woodcutter in a boat and a naughty boy playing in a playhouse by the river after school form an attractive sketch of a mountain village. After appreciating these, there are more strange mountains and rocks on both sides. After 15 miles of rafting, five kilometers away from xianshuiyan, you can see camel's peak, followed by the dragon and tiger mountain, which is rich in mountains and rivers and alchemy in Zhangling.

Mount Longhu

Longhu Mountain, formerly known as Yunjin mountain, is named after a colorful stone mountain with a height of hundreds of feet and a width of hundreds of meters, which looks like Yunjin. Another source of it is "like a dragon and a tiger", that is, a mountain like a dragon, a mountain like a tiger, a dragon and a tiger close to each other. If you look at the bamboo rafts, not far from the main peak, you will find a mountain winding like a dragon, a mountain lying on its back like a crouching tiger, forming a magnificent landscape of dragon and tiger. Under the foot of the dragon and tiger mountain, one day, it was in a flat and open place. Facing the water and the mountain, it was the site of ZHENGYIGUAN. It is the foundation of the Zhengyi sect of Taoism and an important place for Zhang Tianshi to engage in religious activities. It is now under repair.

When you arrive at Zhengyi temple, you can continue to climb to see the water curtain cave and the alchemy rock (left) of zutianshi Jielu. In front of the alchemy rock is a stream with steep stone walls. The Danzao site still exists, and the old remains of the thatched cottage are still there. The waterfall of Shuiliandong is thin and falling. If it's snowing, it's like a pearl curtain. The ancestral master made use of the waterfall of shuiliandongting lake to make alchemy. According to the legend, Ning Xiangfu and Emperor Yongle sent people to follow him here and found the elixir. Here are two of the ten sceneries of xianshuiyan, which are "Dan Shao can't be used" and "Jian Shi can't be used".

The Castanea mollissima forest opposite Longhu Mountain is said to be planted by the Heavenly Master. Tianshi chestnut is sweet and rich in starch. It is an ideal fruit and tonic. According to Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica, "Tianshi Li is only found in Qingcheng Mountain of Western Shu. It is the legacy of Zhang Tianshi's learning of Taoism." Zhang Daoling went to Longhu Mountain first and then Qingcheng Mountain. It can be seen that the chestnuts of Qingcheng Mountain were brought from Longhu Mountain.

After visiting the pool of alchemy and the water curtain cave, you can go to yunjindu Yushi village to taste the flavor snacks. Yushi village has few registered permanent residence and is extremely hospitable. When you sit down, the host will serve a dumpling rolled with potato flour and taro as a snack. This kind of dumpling is smooth and tough like satin. It goes down the throat and tastes unusual. It is called "ten brocade dumplings".

As you continue down the river, you will see the ten sceneries of xianshuiyan in succession, such as "cloud brocade can't be covered", "stone drum can't be knocked", "Daotang can't sit", "Lotus can't be worn", "jade comb can't be combed", "Fairy peach can't be eaten", "fairy can't be matched", "wife can't carry her husband".

After rafting for three hours, he landed at xianshuiyan. There are two rows of artificial square holes on the steep cliff at the landing site, which is the ancient plank road site. The plank road leads to the temple in the rock. The temple is built along the cave. It has seven stories up and down, also known as the seven story temple. The cliff is covered with a stone terrace. It is open and bright, and can accommodate hundreds of people. After the temple is destroyed, tourists often play chess here or have fun with wine. On the cliff tombs, there are many ancient inscriptions: "jade wall flying in the sky", "immortal trace in the sky", "immortal can inhabit" and "Crane Returning to take a picture", all written by Xia Yan and other celebrities. It has been restored as "Feiyun Pavilion" and will be opened to tourists soon.

Longhushan Luxi River human landscape

Luxi River: originated from Guangze primeval forest in Fujian Province, it passes through Yuntai Mountain, Xiangshan Mountain, Shengjing mountain, Shangqing Town, ZHENGYIGUAN, xianshuiyan and Mazuyan, joins Xinjiang River, Poyang Lake and Yangtze River, with a total length of 286 km and a flow length of 43 km in the scenic area. Chao Buzhi, a writer of the Song Dynasty, wrote after his visit that "he traveled to the farthest mountains in the south of the Yangtze River, but he went to the river and beach to find the dry land.".
