Meixi Lake Park

Meixi lake is located in the West leading area of Dahe River in Changsha, Hunan Province, between the West 2nd Ring Road and the 3rd Ring Road. In the 1960s and 1970s, Meixi lake was a low-lying area with many streams, rivers, lakes and ponds. The park has a beautiful environment and good greening. It can walk and ride in the daytime and enjoy music fountains at night, providing an ideal place for outdoor leisure and relaxation for the public.

Meixi Lake Park

Meixi Lake Park is located near Changsha west bus station. The total planning area of Meiling park is about 367 mu, with 318 Mu mountain as the main body, creating a theme park for landscape appreciation. The park crosses the longwanggang River and connects with Ginkgo park to form a green axis, facing taohualing park across the lake, realizing the connection of river, lake and landscape. Meixi Lake constructed wetland is located on the East and west sides of Changsha Ring Expressway, covering an area of 120 mu. The project is a composite constructed wetland wastewater treatment process, which combines biological pond, horizontal subsurface flow wetland, vertical subsurface flow wetland and landscape surface flow wetland. Chen Xiao, director of wetland project of meixihu Industrial Co., Ltd., introduced that the constructed wetland project of meixihu combines with landscape construction, and is supported by pedestrian footpath, lighting, landscape sketch, trestle, landscape pavilion and ancillary landscape greening projects. Taohualing mountain park is located in the south of Meixi Lake area. Its functional structure is "one axis, one belt and six groups", with a total area of 4360 mu. "One axis" refers to the optical axis of the mountain ridge view, "one belt" refers to the tour belt around the mountain. "Six groups" refer to hongsi'an reservoir leisure resort group, Laba Temple leisure convalescence group, east entrance and nature museum group, Luxi bath Resort Group, taohuagu culture group and Ma'an Resort Group Anshan orchard sightseeing group.
