Xuemen Temple
There is a tall acacia tree at the intersection of Bajiao town and Yinghua town in gaojingguan. In the hot summer, the green acacia trees are hanging all over the branches, which make the branches heavy. The acacia trees and shiting River are separated by the highway, and the river is turbulent to the East, and the Acacia trees are independent in summer and autumn.
On the other side, the west mountain is gentle, the small river bank is murmuring, and on a sunny day, there are snow-white peaks hiding occasionally from the clouds. Xuemen temple is under the acacia tree.
development history
present situation
Now in 2015, Xuemen temple has gone through wind and rain. Due to road construction and other social and natural reasons, more can only be paid attention to. However, we can still see the beautiful scenery of Chengmen from historical documents and local records.
history
Ding Shiyi, the governor of the Qing Dynasty, once described the scene when he paid homage to Xuemen temple. "The peaks in the northwest of Fangcheng are full of clouds and snow, among which there must be more predecessors.
After Kao Yi Cheng, there was a master's Academy in the mountain. It is said that Master Cheng met with Mrs. Mie, who said that he learned Yi from it and made a good contribution to it. In the summer of gengzi, after the completion of the exploration of the weir, the road winds three miles up to the temple, facing the shiting river. The ancient cypresses are towering in front of the temple. The river bank is sparsely covered with forest, and the tea garden and bamboo garden are surrounded by fences.
When you enter the temple, there are three couplets in the hall. The statue of master is worshiped in the temple. Besides paying homage, it is like personal roasting. Surrounded by chongshuang at the back of the hall, you can directly see the Yinghua mountain. In front of you, you can see thousands of rocks and gullies, showing off half of the sky, and connecting with Emei. This is the scene of Xuemen temple in the late Qing Dynasty. Now the hall is no longer there, but the scene of "thousands of rocks and gullies, showing half the sky" is still there.
Historical allusions
When you visit Xuemen temple, you can naturally enjoy the scenery along the way, but most of it is for the memory of Master Cheng er. Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi, the founders of Cheng and Zhu Neo Confucianism, are brothers of Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi.
Cheng brothers came to Shifang with their father Cheng in 1064 when he was appointed as governor of Guanghan. Cheng Hao, whose name is Bochun, was a great Confucian in the Song Dynasty. Later generations respected him as Mr. Mingdao. In Shenzong, Cheng Hao was granted the crown prince's permission, and he was in charge of the censor's Lixing. Because of the disagreement with Wang Anshi, he signed a letter to judge Zhenning army. In zhezong, he called him Zong Zhengcheng, but he died before he took office. Cheng Yi, whose name is Zhengshu, was educated by Zhou Dunyi in Lianxi with his elder brother Cheng Hao. He was a genius in his youth. He ruled the great learning and the doctrine of the mean all his life, and reached the six classics. Later, he was called Mr. Yichuan and posthumous Zhenggong.
When Master Cheng Er came to Shifang to give lectures and visit the book of changes, he happened to meet an old man (an old man who makes bamboo utensils) and an old man (an old man who takes a saucepan to make red sauce) in Xuemen temple. They were old clothes in the village, but they were proficient in the book of changes, which made Master Cheng great In order to admire him, Master Cheng built an academy in today's Xuemen temple. On the one hand, he gave lectures and translated into four townships. On the other hand, he also studied Yi deeply. Before the fall of Xuemen temple, in addition to the statue of master Er Cheng, there are also two bony village men who are wearing clothes, weaving bamboo wares and stirring soy sauce jars.
Xuemen academy is located at the waist of the west mountain. Pines and cypresses stand in front of it. When it comes down from the mountain, it can be seen that it is thick and warm, and the corner of the house is exposed. There are pavilions, beside which there are many rivers. It's a gully. The corner of the house is slightly exposed. As soon as it arrives, the courtyard begins to come out of the pines. It's boundless and boundless. It looks up to Baidu, and there are torrents under it. It's Leihe River. The sound of beating is continuous. It's drizzling for the first time Predecessors have taken pains to record the scenes around Xuemen temple. First, they admire the ancients and advocate knowledge and learning. Second, I'm afraid that the original undeveloped area of Xuemen temple is really beautiful. The ancients often choose the place with beautiful scenery to build houses, which can not only help them write books and learn, but also cultivate their mind. It is inevitable that Master Cheng Er chose Xuemen temple. However, the origin of "Cheng men Li Xue" should also involve two other people, one is Yang Shi, the other is you Zui, both of whom are second Cheng students. Yang Shi and you Xun visited Mr. Yichuan in Maoxue. When they arrived at the door of the master's college, Mr. Yizhong was lying awake. They didn't dare to disturb the teacher, so they had to wait under the steps.
When Mr. Yichuan woke up, they still stood still, and the snow was three feet. Whether this story is true or not is not certain, but the ancients' attitude of respecting teachers and teaching and pursuing learning is enough to serve as a reference for future generations. In the 11th year of Jiaqing Dynasty, Shifang ordered Ji Dakui to visit Xuemen temple. He once sighed: "when you go to Guansi, you can trace back the legend of Yiluo. If you want to trace the trace of Baofu, you can know where the birds are going. Yiluo is the Confucius Academy in the story. It is also called Zhangshan Luoshui because of the landscape of Shifang.
