Nanmenxia scenic spot

Nanmenxia scenic spot is located 15 kilometers northwest of Weiyuan Town, Huzhu County, Qinghai Province. It is 45 kilometers away from Xining city. The scenic area is mainly composed of Nanmenxia reservoir and quezang temple. The reservoir was built in 1973 and completed in 1985. It took 12 years to store 18 million cubic meters of water. It is a scenic spot integrating tourism, leisure, sightseeing and vacation.

Development history

The scenery around the reservoir area is beautiful. The East and West Mountains are facing each other, and the cliffs are thousands of feet high. The arch bridge of dongganqu at Xiakou is magnificent. Quezang temple was built in 1649 A.D. in the sixth year of Shunzhi reign of Qing Dynasty. In the first year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty, it was destroyed because of the Luobu zangdanjin incident, and then rebuilt. In 1985, there were more than 150 permanent monks. The temple has large and small sutras halls, thousand Buddha Hall, and "larang" (the place where living Buddhas live) of living Buddhas such as quezang, Zhangjia, saichi, Guihua, Lianhua, aqun and Xiaer. The main building is the thousand Buddha Hall of Sakyamuni, which is three stories high and has ninety-nine rooms. There are Xianzong and Shilun academies in the whole temple, which adopt the course of guomang ZHACANG in Drepung temple, and there is "kezangkang village" in ZHACANG. The host is the sixth living Buddha Luo sangdan Bei wangxiu.

natural resources

There are three viewing stops in the scenic area. The water surface is as flat as a mirror, blue waves, yachts shuttle, waterfowls gather, fish jump, and the environment is quiet. It enjoys the reputation of "Gaoxia Pinghu". The temple is surrounded by mountains. The whole mountain, like a dragon lying around. There is Fenghuang mountain on the left and lion mountain in front. The pines and cypresses on the mountain are green, and the fertile fields in front of the temple are green. In midsummer, tourists come here for holiday.

Shitianmen

It is said that when Erlang used his arrows to shoot the demon dragon, the arrow cluster was formed through the top of Dongshan mountain.

Cable trough

It is said that when Xiaotian dog was following the injured demon dragon, it was pulled out of the deep ditch by the iron rope on its neck.

Cauldron stone

Legend has it that Erlang God and the seven brothers of Meishan set up camp and set up pots for a picnic.

There is a stone wall near. There is a gap on the wall. It is where Erlang God stored his armor after he subdued the demon. Now it is called Erlang armor. All these beautiful legends are vivid, imaginative and unforgettable. They are excellent places for summer outing. Located 18 kilometers away from Huzhu County, 48 kilometers away from Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province. There is a stone pillar inside for the two gods Lang tie posts.
