About the author

Shen Quanqi (656? He was born in Neihuang County of Xiangzhou (now Neihuang County of Henan Province). In 675 of the second year of Shangyuan Dynasty of Gaozong, he was promoted to be a Jinshi. He was called xielulang. Later, he served as tongshisheren, geishizhong and kaogonglang. He returned to China in exile. He was a living man and a Bachelor of Arts. Later, he was promoted to Zhongshu Sheren and the prince shaozhan. He is a famous poet after the "four outstanding poets". He is as famous as song Zhiwen and is known as Shen Song. He is also known as one of the founders of Lu poetry.

Shen Quanqi was a court poet in the period of Emperor Gaozong and empress Wuhou. He was famous for writing Yingzhi poems. His "dragon pool chapter" is very famous, which is the third movement of Xuanzong enjoying dragon pool. However, most of these poems were written in praise of emperor Shengping. At the beginning of shenlongchu (705), Zhang Yizhi's brother was killed in a palace coup. Shen Quanqi was exiled to Chongshan (now Chongzuo County of Guangxi), and later moved to Taizhou to join the army. Quanqi's works in Zhouzhou, such as "three days alone in zhousiyiyou", "zhouzhuzhai moved to the water Pavilion in the mountains", "amnesty to not return to the stone on the river" and "reply to Xiangmei's letter to his family", all have five character rhythms, but in the deep depression, they are flowing and relaxed. "The answer to the evil spirit" is a piece with more than 12 rhymes, which is especially rare at that time. "
