It is also said that Manjusri, riding a green lion, overlooks the beautiful mountain in the sky. When he was pleasantly surprised, he accidentally fell down and left a mark of a month and a half on his hip. Then Manjusri went to heaven to worship the sun. Later generations built a stone platform according to the mark, which is also called the sun worship platform. It was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and then destroyed and repaired many times. Under the stage, there is a stone protruding, like a virtual horn, which is called "Lingxiao stone". There is a pavilion on it, called "laomu Pavilion", because Lushan is also called Lishan among the people. It is said that it is the place where laomu practices. This pavilion is also called Juxian Pavilion. The surrounding environment of Manjusri terrace is elegant and the trees are pleasant, which makes people sigh that "if you don't go to this terrace, you will win". If you climb to the top of the mountain, you can see the mountains and fields in front of you. You can see the mountains in the distance and the plain. You can look up at the white clouds and the blue sky. You can see the Green Valley and the clear stream. It is deep and secluded and full of wild interest. This is not only a good place to enjoy the sea of clouds, but also an ideal place to see the Buddha's light by chance.

Manjusri
Manjusri terrace is on the overhanging rock in front of Yuping tower. Its platform is a huge stone, flat in the middle and convex on the left and right. The open space in front of the stage is an excellent place to enjoy the scenery of the South China Sea. It is said that in ancient times, Manjusri Bodhisattva of Penglai Fairy Island invited two Bodhisattvas, Tianzun and dizang, to drive colorful auspicious clouds to Huangshan for a spring outing. When they came to Yuping peak and saw that the scenery here was amazing and beautiful, they all planned to set up a temple here and enjoy the fragrance of thousands of families.
The legend of Manjusri
On the way back to Penglai after visiting Huangshan Mountain, Manjusri hid aside. When Tianzun and dizang were far away, he turned around the clouds and flew to Huangshan Mountain to take the first place of Yuping peak. Tianzun and dizang went back to their respective homes. In order to seize Yuping peak, Tianzun didn't even enter his home, so he drove Xiangyun back to Huangshan. He went into his house, packed up his luggage in a hurry, and drove Xiangyun to Huangshan. But Manjusri took the lead and built a temple here. Dazun and dizang scolded Manjusri for not being friendly and clamoring to build a temple in Yupingfeng. Manjusri said, "I'm sitting on the cliff in front of Yuping peak. If you can pull me up, I'd rather give up this fairy mountain to you two." Tianzun and dizang took Manjusri's arm and pulled it up. They couldn't pull it twice in a row. On the third time, they spent nine oxen and two tigers to pull Manjusri up. At this time, a pilgrim saw him and said with a loud sneer, "I can't imagine that you Bodhisattvas are also like this. You fight for me!" When the three Bodhisattvas heard this, they could not help blushing. While Manjusri was still struggling to fall, they suddenly let go and ran away. They fell heavily on the high cliff, and even the rock sank into a seal, just like a seat. The cliff in front of Yuping peak is now "Manjusri terrace", and the rock on which Manjusri falls is "Manjusri seat". The stone on the left side of the platform is engraved with the word "Manjusri platform", which is inscribed by Zhang shansun.
