Fairy Cave

It is located in Gushe mountain, 17 kilometers west of Linfen City. Gusheshan, belonging to the Luliang mountains, is said to be the birthplace of Lu Xiannv, the wife of King Yao. It is famous for the saying that "there are gods and men living in the mountain of scorning gusheshan" in xiaoyaoyou written by Zhuangzi, a famous philosopher in the spring and Autumn period. The cave was built in Wude period of Tang Dynasty. It has been repaired and expanded in the past dynasties. There are more than 40 existing buildings, more than 120 houses and temples, and 70 caves. Pavilions, platforms, buildings, pavilions, large and small palaces, most of which are built on the basis of mountains, caves and cliffs. Strange peaks and caves, green pines and cypresses, surrounded by green mountains. In the meantime, there is a deep valley of several hundred meters, and the north and South fairy caves face each other majestically. In spring, summer and autumn, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant. It's cool and quiet. I feel like I'm in a fairyland here.

brief introduction

Also known as Xianyan, it is located near huangpiqiao village, Fenggang town. It is a stone mountainside with holes for visitors to enter. It is an open area. Cave area of 40 square meters, there are boulders like bed, like table, like chessboard, known as "fairy bed", "fairy table", "chessboard stone". It's quiet all around and lush with trees and bamboos. There is a reading hall in the rock. It is said that Wang Anshi, a politician of the Song Dynasty, once studied here. In 1204, Wu Shao, the county magistrate of song Jiatai, carved the three words "study hall", which still exist today. Xu Xiake, a geographer of the Ming Dynasty, once toured here. In his travels, Xu Xiake recorded that "the rock is as high as the golden screen, and the upper dome is forced downward, and the west side of it is suddenly through the wall gate. If you enter through the stone, the mountains will be like another world. But the rock is very thin, not particularly on the south wall, but on the North dome, which is even more strange. Just like the Tianyan of Du, the scenery is also the most strange. " In the Ming Dynasty, there were two temples in the South and North, which were later abolished.

Nanxian cave

Nanxian cave, a temple building, is called Xinglong temple. Xinglong temple is composed of Shenju cave, Biyan temple, Guanyin Pavilion, theater, more than 70 houses and more than 40 caves. At the entrance of Shenju cave, there is a stone tablet of the Xining period of the Song Dynasty, 900 years ago. Inside the cave, there are painted sculptures, murals and stone tablets of past dynasties. There are two connected caves on the back wall, which are tens of meters deep. There are Biyan temple and Guanyin cave, which are built close to the mountain and have a unique style. There are more than 200 iron, copper, wood and clay statues. Murals and steles have certain historical and artistic value.

Beixian cave

Beixian cave is also called foxing temple. It is composed of more than 50 temples and more than 30 caves. The main buildings of Beixian cave are the main hall of the great male and the pavilion of the queen mother. The main hall is built on the cliff and lies in the stone hollow. It's interesting to see the huge stone on the top of the hall, and the statue of Sakyamuni in the center of the hall. On the East and west walls, there is a "longciqin collection" scripture cabinet, which contains scriptures. In addition, there are Wangmu Pavilion, zhaotian lake, Wulong lake, shuilian cave, lunu cave, banxiantai, Nantianmen, Qipanshi, Shaanxi cave and other historic sites, which are all part of Beixian cave tourist area.

It is said that there is a celestial fairy who looks at the beautiful Gushe mountain from the clouds. Suddenly, on the top of the purple mountain, there was a young man with beautiful features. The fairy suddenly moved her true feelings, pressed the cloud to face the young man, and learned that his name was Jiao Bian. They fell in love at first sight and often met in caves. In order to prevent people from finding out, every tryst, the fairy always calls the wind and the rain, forming a water curtain hanging in front of the cave, which becomes today's water curtain cave. The fairy and Jiao Bian worship the mountain god and become husband and wife. When the Jade Emperor knew about it, he drove her out of heaven and punished her to gusheshan. Fairy love forever, and her husband jiaobian in the West Ditch love. A few years later, she gave birth to a daughter named deer fairy. Therefore,

Xiandong Xigou is also known as Lugou. On a visit to gusheshan, King Yao met the deer fairy. They fell in love at first sight and decided for life. The wedding ceremony was soon held in Gushe Cave (deer Fairy Cave). When the lights were bright and the music was loud, King Yao Chengxing sealed gushedong as a fairyland, which is now known as xiandonggou. The cave where the wedding is located is called the fairy cave.

There are many beautiful legends in xiandonggou. There is a fairyland in the fairyland cave. It is said that the eight immortals often gather here. Nowadays, people have created the story of the eight immortals gathering in the cave. The colorful statues add infinite elegance to visitors.

According to the inscriptions, Zhao Ji, Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, traveled to the cave on March 28, the eighth year of Zhenghe. The existing King Stone of Song Dynasty is a place to take a rest while driving.

It is said that Li Yuan, Emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty, met a strong enemy in Huozhou and fled to gusheshan, which was blocked by a steep cliff. In a rage, Li Yuan whipped Gao He. He heard a thunderbolt. The cliff cracked into a door, and the king of Tang was saved. Later generations called it "Nantianmen".
