Located between Junshan lake and Qinglan Lake in Jinxian County, Jiangxi Province, Xihu Lijia is an ancient village with a history of more than 600 years. The village is endowed with unique natural ecological advantages, such as the combination of mountains and rivers, green trees, beautiful countryside, simple rural style and rich folk customs.

The beautiful natural scenery and rich folk culture of the Li family have attracted a large number of enthusiastic tourists to visit and play. It has become a prosperous place for rural tourism.

In September 2018, Jiangxi Province made an unannounced visit to 50 scenic spots in Jiangxi Province. Among them, there were dirt and sewage on the ground of Li's tour site in West Lake, there were sanitary dead spots, no mobile cleaning, employees did not wear work clothes, work cards, smoke, play mobile phones, eat, gather people to chat, and internal and external features were relatively poor, so serious warnings were given.

On August 25, 2019, the Li family of sanxihu lake was given a serious warning by Jiangxi Provincial Department of culture and tourism for failing to meet the standard in the review

. On November 4, according to the Jiangxi Provincial Department of culture and tourism, Lijia scenic spot in West Lake, Jinxian County, Nanchang City, was delisted as a national 4A scenic spot due to three failed reviews.

Historical evolution

According to Li's genealogy, in the Ming Dynasty, Li shengjiong, a young man, followed his parents to escape the war and moved southward. Unfortunately, his father died on the way, and he and his mother lived together and were exiled to Qinglan lake. Relying on a shoulder pole, Li shengjiong started a small business and supported his mother. The local big family of Hu family saw that he was hardworking and kind-hearted, so they recruited him to be their son-in-law. According to the traditional custom, the bridegroom should change his family name and become a descendant of Hu family. Many years later, the virtuous and benevolent wife, seeing her husband's memory of Li's ancestors, finally convinced her parents and her husband, who changed his surname to Li, to bring their children to Qinglan lake to open up wasteland, build houses and reproduce. Therefore, the village was named Li family of Xihu. Today, there are more than 500 families and more than 2000 descendants of the Li family living in the village. The ancestral precepts in the genealogy of the Li family, which warn future generations not to forget their roots and be homesick for their ancestors, have been passed down.

Since 2006, in the construction of a new socialist countryside, the Li family of Xihu has made full use of the advantages of landscape resources and the charm of ancient villages to build and improve rural tourist attractions. After several years of unremitting efforts, especially since 2015, the infrastructure construction has been basically improved, the construction of tourist attractions has begun to take shape, and the characteristic tourist highlights have emerged frequently The number of people living in rural areas is increasing year by year.

Main attractions

Longxi Hall

The ancestors of Lijia village called themselves Li family in Longxi, so they built a simple and elegant Longxi hall, also known as village ancestral hall, with village cultural activity room. In the hall, there are pictures of village Fu, village history, village songs, village rules and regulations, superior leaders and celebrities from home and abroad visiting the village, etc., which become a place for villagers to get together, carry out traditional education and carry out cultural and entertainment activities.

Cultural wall

The cultural wall is the wall on the East and west sides of the village, called the outer wall, with a total length of one kilometer. The fence has 83 gatehouses. On each gate of the western wall is carved the twenty-four filial piety pictures and allusions, and on each gate of the eastern wall is carved the three character Scripture.

Celebrity wall

The celebrity wall is the inner wall of Li village in Xihu, which is divided into three courtyards: the East, the middle and the West. The path of each courtyard is secluded. Each wall has a red stone gate tower, and more than 30 gates are engraved with portraits and life stories of Li's celebrities.

Hongshi square

The square is all paved with red stone, covering an area of 5000 square meters. The square is surrounded by an old stage in the East, ancient dwellings in the West and Mingtang in front of the village surrounded by green trees in the south. There are stone books beside the pond and a beautiful Pavilion in the middle of the lake. It is a public place for villagers to hold meetings, watch operas and play dragon lanterns in festivals, have a hundred tables of new year's Eve dinner in the whole village for Chinese New Year's Eve, and have leisure and fitness on weekdays.

Honors

In 2009, it was rated as Nanchang's top ten tourism landscape villages and top ten rural hotels; in 2010, it was rated as Jiangxi's rural tourism demonstration site and Jiangxi's Provincial Ecological Village; in January 2011, it was rated as China's happy village.

On January 29, 2013, Xihu Li village was approved as a national 3A scenic spot by Jiangxi provincial scenic spot quality rating committee.

On December 25, 2015, Xihu Li village was approved as a national 4A scenic spot by Jiangxi tourism scenic spot quality rating committee (cancelled in November 2019)

Important people

On the morning of January 22, 2010, Li Douluo, the outgoing director of the Standing Committee of Nanchang Municipal People's Congress, finished his last report at the National People's Congress. Four hours later, he went back to his hometown Li's home in Xihu and took root and began to raise money for construction. With his insistence, the Li family of West Lake built a scenic spot in five years. Tourists come to visit the beautiful countryside and the past farming production methods.
