WOFO Temple Park

The scenic spots include the reclining Buddha Hall, the Eight Diagrams array, the Grand View Pavilion, the Banshan Pavilion, the peony garden, the green bamboo garden, the water park, the children's Park, the zoo, the strange stone garden, and the magic city. The park is planned and designed by experts from Shandong Provincial Bureau of landscape architecture. The planning is scientific and reasonable, grand and unique. In the park, there are not only natural landscapes such as tiger mountain Reclining Buddha, Lotus Lake and Jiuding Lotus Mountain, but also human landscapes such as reclining Buddha Temple, five hundred Luohan cave, eight trigrams array and peony garden; there are not only Jiuding Lotus Mountain with luxuriant trees and steep mountains, but also Lotus Lake with open water and bright lake; there are graceful and beautiful beauty in the south of the Yangtze River, delicate and light, but also the undulating and magnificent mountains in the north. Tianfo scenic area is located in the north of the county. The main features of tianfo scenic area are real mountain, real water and real giant Buddha. Among the mountains of Wanghai tower, a natural Giant Buddha with a total length of 3800 meters was born. In 1996, in order to implement the religious policy, Junan county government rebuilt Wofo temple and was approved as the only legal Buddhist activity place in Yimeng mountain area. The main hall, the Sleeping Buddha Hall, the Sutra tower, the bell tower, the drum tower and the relic pagoda have been built one after another. The temple's ancient buildings are simple and elegant, with cornices, brackets, carved beams and painted buildings, majestic and solemn.

In 2000, WOFO Temple held a grand opening ceremony. During the holidays, pilgrims and believers from all over the world gathered here, with thousands of heads and cigarettes.

Lotus Lake

Covering an area of 700 mu, it looks like a mirror inlaid in the center of the scenic spot. The lake is surrounded by weeping willows, green grass, pavilions and pavilions, resplendent and resplendent; in the lake, the waves are shining, the reeds are swaying, the lotus is reflected in the sun, the Xiangling is dripping green, and the wild gulls are flying. Jiuding Lotus Mountain

It looks like a giant dragon meandering and taking off. Guanyin Pavilion is towering at the highest peak of Lianhua Mountain. It is a Buddhist Taoist temple for praying for blessings and children. WOFO Temple

During the southern and Northern Dynasties, master Tucheng, a famous monk, led his disciples Youfang to lecture and preach. He found the tianfo temple in Junan. He built a temple under tianfo mountain to pray for tianfo, which is called "WOFO Temple". During the Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty, in order to build the Dayan calendar, the eminent monks and their group laid a new foundation for the Wofo temple, planted a national pagoda tree, and formed a meridian observation point with the heavenly Buddha. For thousands of years, Wofo temple has been the center of Buddhist culture in southern Shandong and Northern Jiangsu. The tree, which has gone through thousands of years of vicissitudes, is still luxuriant and full of spring and autumn fruits. It has become a living witness of Wofo temple.

Heaven Buddha

Junan tianfo is 3800 meters long with clear features and limbs. There are three levels and four corners, which contain the "three learning and four essence" of Buddhism; 28 steps at the grassroots level show the number of Enlightenment under the bodhi tree of Buddha; 45 steps above it coincide with the years when the Buddha lived and preached Buddhism; purple sandstone relief paintings are inlaid around the platform, which are all Buddhist cultural allusions; the square in front of the platform is full of images, with auspicious bells and Ruyi drums standing in the East and West; the eighteen Arhats are lifelike, which are arranged on both sides; the couplets on the archway of tianfo holy land Couplet engraving is thought-provoking. Every major festival, the square is full of people. When you step on the stage and look north, the Buddha is born, which makes you feel excited and worship.
