Gaxiandong Forest Park is located in the northwest of Alihe Town, Oroqen banner, 3.5km away from Alihe Town, covering an area of 15819ha. The park is surrounded by mountains, green waves, green mountains and green waters. Gaxian River in the garden flows from northwest to Southeast. Climatic characteristics

Gaxiandong Forest Park is located in the cold temperate continental climate, which belongs to the warm, cool, humid and semi humid forest and animal husbandry climate zone in the eastern foot of Daxinganling Mountains. The annual average temperature is about - 2 ℃, and the annual average precipitation is 500m, which is concentrated in July to September. According to the current situation of Forest Park and the distribution characteristics of landscape resources, combined with the nature of the park and the principle of functional zoning, the park is divided into four functional areas, namely the core landscape area, general recreation area, management service area and ecological conservation area.

Core landscape area

The total area is 2140 Hm2, accounting for 15.9% of the park. The gaxiandong site, a key cultural relic, is located in this area. It includes 19 (part), 28, 29 (part), 30, 31, 32, 33 (part) forest classes. In addition to the necessary protection, interpretation, sightseeing, rest and safety, environmental sanitation, scenic management and protection station and other facilities, in principle, accommodation, catering, shopping, entertainment and other facilities are not planned in the core landscape area. However, in the ice and snow entertainment resort area, due to the longer route and greater physical consumption, tourists need to be given the necessary ability to supplement and rest, so a small amount of accommodation and special catering are set up here.

General recreation area

The total area is 1820 Hm2, accounting for 13.5% of the park. Including 19 (part), 20, 23, 24 and 27. It is an area with good forest landscape resources and convenient for tourism activities. A small number of tourist roads, parking lots, propaganda and education facilities, entertainment facilities, scenic spot management and protection stations, small-scale catering spots and shopping booths are planned.

Management service area

The total area is 1303 Hm2, accounting for 9.7% of the park. Including 29 (part), 33 (part), 35, 36 and 38. The management service area is an area designated to meet the needs of forest park management and tourism reception services. It is planned to include entrance management area, tourist center, parking lot, a certain number of accommodation, catering, shopping, entertainment and other reception service facilities, as well as necessary management and staff living rooms.

Ecological conservation area

The total area is 8196hm2, accounting for 60.9% of the park. In order to ensure the sustainable development of Forest Park and the integrity of landscape sight, the core landscape area, general recreation area and management service area are set as ecological conservation area. The functional area not only has the ecological functions of water conservation, water and soil conservation, but also is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of the forest park. In the planning period, the ecological protection and restoration is the main task, and there is basically no development and construction, and it is not open to tourists.

Resources

The total land area of gaxiandong Forest Park is 13459hm2, of which the forest land area is 11843.92hm2, accounting for 88% of the total area; the non forest land area is 1615.08hm2, accounting for 12%, and the forest coverage rate is 85%. In the area and volume of forest land, larch is the most dominant species, followed by Betula platyphylla. In addition, Rhododendron larch forest, grass larch forest and grass birch forest are widely distributed and large in area, accounting for nearly 69% of forest area and 77% of stock. The main families of flora are Gramineae, Compositae, Rosaceae, Liliaceae, Ranunculaceae, Leguminosae, Cruciferae, Labiatae, Cyperaceae, etc. Swamps are often distributed in the floodplain and lower wetland, with Carex plants as the main species, forming a clump like tower head landform. Wild animals mainly include wild boar, roe deer, chinchilla, hazelnut, sand pheasant, etc. They mainly live in the deep forest of Forest Park.

GA cave

Gaxian cave is a national first-class protected cultural relic. The ancient "stone chamber" ruins, where the ancestors of Tuoba Xianbei lived in the Northern Wei Dynasty, is located on a granite cliff with a height of 100 meters. The huge triangular hole is exposed on a cliff more than 20 meters above the ground. The cave is 92 meters long from north to south, 27.8 meters wide from east to west and more than 20 meters high. On the stone wall on the left side of the cave, there are 19 lines and 201 characters of congratulatory inscriptions left by Li Kuang, Minister of tuobatao school, when he came here to worship his ancestors in 443 ad. the calligraphy of official script is ancient and clumsy, which is between official script and regular script. This important discovery proves that gaxiandong is the ancestral temple stone chamber of Tuoba Xianbei mentioned in Wei Shu, which has a history of more than 1550 years.

In July 1980, archaeologists found in the cave a congratulatory inscription engraved by tuobatao, Emperor Taiwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty, when he sent Li Chang, the Minister of the Chinese Academy of letters, to worship his ancestors in 443 ad (the fourth year of Taiping Zhenjun). Zhu Wen is carved on the stone wall on the west side near the entrance of the cave, with a total of 19 lines and 201 characters. The font is ancient and clumsy, between Li Kai. This important discovery proves that gaxian cave is the ancestral temple stone chamber of Tuoba Xianbei mentioned in Wei Shu.

The great footprints of the distant ancestors on the blue slate

As soon as the nine demons talk about themselves as a waste, they propose to compete with gaxian.
