Changsha relic tower
The relic tower was built under the order of Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty Yang Jian. It is in the dense forest not far to the right behind aiwan Pavilion. After the Fenglin bridge, you can see an ancient pagoda shaped like a monk's hat. The base of the pagoda is square, the side length is about two meters, and the height of the pagoda is twelve meters. There are five reliefs in the four corners and the front, and the front is a Buddha statue.

Song shanjuefan wrote Sui induction Buddha relic Pagoda: Yang Jian, Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty, was born in Daxing temple in Tongzhou (today's Dali County, Shaanxi Province) in June of the seventh year of Datong, Emperor Wu of Liang Dynasty. When he was a baby, he had a violent illness and was named "Zhixian". From outside, he told Yang Zhong, Yang Jian's father, that he was blessed and could not be raised at home When he was 20 years old, he was asked to go home, and the nun gave him hundreds of relic pieces, saying, "this is a blessing for the common people.". After Yang Jian became emperor, he ordered 52 prefectures in the second year of Renshou (A.D. 602) to build a pagoda in a famous mountain and a good place, and to collect the relic. Under the pagoda, the statue of Ni was painted to record it. It is said that Yuelu Mountain tower is one of them.
