Yongxing Temple

Yongxing temple, located in Yingchengzi Town, Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, is a Buddhist temple for men. According to historical materials and the records of the epitaph of rebuilding Yongxing temple, Yongxing temple was built in the reign of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty (627-649). It is more than 1000 years ago. In 1994, Yongxing temple was restored and expanded with the approval of the office of Dalian cultural relics administration committee. The rebuilt Yongxing temple covers an area of about 6240 square meters, with a construction area of 1370 square meters. It has 13 years of antique buildings, including Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall, Tianwang hall, Shanmen hall, bell tower, Drum Tower and so on. More than 40 Buddha statues have been meticulously carved.
