Beijing Marigold tulip garden is located in the northeast of Beijing, 14 kilometers away from Dongzhimen and 6 kilometers away from capital airport. It covers an area of 26 hectares. The garden is divided into production area and flower viewing area. There are two inflatable greenhouses in the production area, which mainly produce famous, special, excellent, new and seasonal flowers. Different varieties of tulips are mainly planted in Huaben ornamental area, as well as a certain proportion of trees, shrubs and lawns.

Tulip garden is modeled on the model of Keukenhof Park in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, aiming to build a tulip theme park. Tulip garden holds a two-month lotus exhibition every summer, which provides a good place for people in Beijing to enjoy the summer heat, cool and flowers. Our garden has 130 varieties of Chilian, Guanlian and Wanlian, 30 varieties of hanlian, and 20 aquatic plants such as zilihua, Shuiyu and huayeludi. Such precious varieties as Cruz tropical wanglian, hongtailian and qianbanlian can be seen in our garden.

Autumn chrysanthemum show

With advanced production technology, the chrysanthemum that should have opened in November was opened two months earlier in October. Every year, nearly 400000 pots of chrysanthemum are displayed in the Chrysanthemum Exhibition, including 130 kinds of large flower fine chrysanthemum, 8 winter chrysanthemum varieties used for grafting art chrysanthemum, and 12 national day small chrysanthemum varieties. The artistic chrysanthemums such as Panlong, peacock, Erlong Xizhu are lifelike, and Dahlia can produce more than 4000 flowers. Jinqiuju exhibition in our garden is a review of chrysanthemum varieties and a stage for chrysanthemum plastic arts.

Winter plum blossom show

In winter, the weather is cold and the ground is frozen, so there are few opportunities to watch the flowers. Our garden uses advanced technology to make the plum blossom which should blossom in March open in the greenhouse during the Spring Festival. So that people during the Spring Festival to add a good place to play. During the exhibition, you can see the precious plum blossom bonsai, Meiren plum, Huazhi plum and Longyou plum. There are 120 plum varieties on display each time.

Bonsai Exhibition

The main schools of bonsai garden complete, such as: Lingnan School, Shanghai school, Sichuan school, etc. There are more than 200 bonsai of different genres. There are many kinds of plants, such as banyan bonsai, native Rhododendron bonsai, acanthopanax, Mahonia, Pyracantha fortuneana, Fraxinus, etc., which are on display free of charge in the greenhouse all year round.

Best travel time

It belongs to temperate continental semi humid monsoon climate. Four distinct seasons and concentrated precipitation. In spring, it is dry and windy, with large temperature difference between day and night; in summer, it is hot and rainy; in autumn, it is sunny and rainy, with suitable temperature and sufficient light; in winter, it is cold and dry, with more wind and less snow.
