Jiuding tiecha mountain is 40 kilometers east of Benxi City. There is a strange mountain with an altitude of more than 900 meters and a radius of more than 20 miles. It is the birthplace of Longmen sect of Taoism in Northeast China.

Tiecha mountain towering into the clouds, whirling up and down, Qifeng steep, ancient pine vigorous. There are many caves, the most famous of which is babaoyun cave.

Tiecha mountain is composed of five peaks: Yuhuangding in the East, lingbaoding in the south, taishangding in the west, zhenwuding in the north. The original peak of Zhongfeng is the highest, the most dangerous and the most beautiful. Looking up from the southeast and the north, you can see three of the five peaks, which are combined into nine, so it is named Jiuding tiecha mountain. In addition to the five peaks, there are also Xianglu peak, Shizi peak, Nantianmen, beitianmen, ziqiling in Qingyang, jintianling in yaochi, etc.

In the third year of Chongzhen (1630) of the Ming Dynasty, Taoist Guo ShouZhen entered the mountain and lived in Yunguang cave for more than ten years. At that time, he accepted disciples to preach and started the eastern Taoism. Later, he was honored as the ancestor of Taoism in Guandong. This mountain is also known as the birthplace of Taoism in Northeast China in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. The original Guozu pagoda, Tianguan temple, Sanqing temple and other Taoist buildings in the mountains. It is a provincial and municipal cultural relic protection unit with an area of more than 20 Li. There are five peaks in tiecha mountain: the original peak of Zhongfeng, Zhenwu peak of Beifeng, Lingbao peak of Nanfeng, Yuhuang peak of Dongfeng and Taishang peak of benfeng. Looking up from the East, South and North, you can see three peaks of vitality. The three peaks are combined to form nine, so it is named Jiuding tiecha mountain. The mountain has steep peaks, lush trees, towering ancient trees (unfortunately, a mountain fire burned a large number of ancient trees in the autumn of 1967), and deep caves. It is the birthplace of Taoism in Northeast China. There are many ancient caves on the mountain, including Yunguang cave, Tianqiao cave, Qiankun cave, sunlight cave, Fengyue cave, Xuanshi cave, Guozu cave and Sanxian cave. Among them, Yunguang cave is the largest. According to the myth, Li Daxian with long eyebrow once practiced here, and Yang Jinbao once studied here. The cave is inclined upward, about 20 meters deep and 7-10 meters wide. In the cave, there are "eight treasures", including dingfengzhu, shisshouxing, Shihu, Shilong, shibufo, shimuyu, Shichuang and shilianhua. Outside the cave, there are ten characters "Jiuding tiecha mountain, babaoyunguang cave". There are many stone carvings on the mountain, among which the cliff carvings of "live with the heaven" are eight meters high and five meters wide, and the characters are as big as the stone.

Tiecha mountain scenic spot is located in the east of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County. It is the birthplace of Longmen sect of northeast Taoism and the ancestral court of northeast Taoism. There are written records about tiecha mountain in the ancient novels Fengshen romance and Jinling mansion. The scenic spot is one of the most valuable areas in our county, with steep peaks, lush trees, picturesque scenery in four seasons, and many cliff carvings showing a long history and culture. In order to further enhance the soft power and regional comprehensive competitiveness of the scenic spot development, Benxi county officially launched the tiecha mountain scenic spot development and construction project in October 2009. Travel itinerary

Here is a tour plan from Shenyang to tiecha mountain. Because it doesn't take a whole day to visit tiecha mountain, it is suggested to continue to visit Guanyin Mountain next to Xiaoshi passenger station (Benxi passenger station) when you have physical strength: 1. Take the train from Shenyang to Benxi. 2. Take No.19, No.20, No.16 to Benxi long distance passenger station. 3. About 1.5 hours by bus from Benxi to Nandian, 13 yuan per person. It's better to inform the driver of the destination when getting on the bus and ask the driver to help contact the vehicles going up and down the mountain. 4. After getting off the train, take a taxi (the driver's help will wait at the nearest intersection of the mountain, which will save time than taking a taxi after getting off the train) to tiechashan. The one-way time is about 15 minutes. 5. The ticket is 55 yuan per person. It takes about 2.5 hours to go up the mountain and 1.5 to 2 hours to go down the mountain. All of them are stone and wood steps, and there is a guide map every other section of the way, which is relatively safe. The mobile phone signal of the whole mountain is good. 6. After taking a bus from tiecha mountain, you can take a small passenger from master Tian to the small market, 8 yuan per person. 7. Take the coach from Xiaoshi to Benxi for about 40 minutes, 11 yuan per person. 8. Return to Benxi railway station by bus or taxi from Benxi long distance passenger station, and return to Shenyang by k7378 train (18:20-19:20).
