With a construction area of more than 26000 square meters, the African Pavilion covers an area equivalent to three and a half standard football fields, and the total area of four facades is 9500 square meters. It is the largest of the 11 United pavilions in Shanghai World Expo. The indoor net height of the pavilion is 9 meters, and each country in the pavilion covers an area of 250 square meters. Sudan: with the theme of "city and peace", through the display of historical features, achievements in peace building and urban development, the significance of peace to Sudan's development is demonstrated, and a better future is expected. The traditional exhibition elements and various exhibition forms in the exhibition hall together give this ancient country a restrained fashion atmosphere. The entrance is in the shape of savajin gate, a traditional Sudanese building, showing its dignity in the Danding. Gambia: with the theme of "changing our lives for a better life", the Pavilion shows the nature and urban life of Gambia.
