Xuanli building is located in the east of the courtyard, covering an area of 128 square meters. It is a typical Chinese Pavilion building, with a height of more than 20 meters and three floors. It is a full wood structure, with six columns and walls, six towers, cornices and spires, and sparse glazed tile surface. The bottom floor is higher than the patio, and the East and west sides are the passageways, with four stone steps respectively. The other four sides are thick walls, and the exterior is inlaid with bricks. A bell is hung on the third floor to ring the time and summon people to worship. In case of fire or banditry, an emergency bell is rung to call the police. There is a plaque with three big characters of "xingmenglou" on it.
The gate faces south and is located in the south of Xuanli building and East Tianfang middle line. It is an independent building with high foundation, stone steps up and down, and two thick red spring wooden doors.
