There were 15 plants with DBH more than 2 meters, 36 plants with DBH more than 1.8 meters and 398 plants with DBH more than 1 meter. There are tens of thousands of "Teenagers" under one meter.

West Tianmu Mountain is famous for its "big tree canopy" and has a rare Cryptomeria fortunei community in the world. According to the survey of ancient and famous trees in the province in 2002, there are 19 trees with DBH more than 2 meters and 664 trees with DBH more than 1 meter. The largest diameter at breast height is 2.75 meters, and the volume per tree is 81 cubic meters. The size of Cryptomeria fortunei is amazing. It is like a green screen standing upright, and it is like a green canopy, which is concentrated into a piece, which is magnificent.

. There is a Cryptomeria fortunei, which was called "Qianqiu tree" as early as the Song Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, it was a big tree surrounded by four or five trees, with a diameter of more than 2 meters and more than 2000 years. Emperor Qianlong of gaozongchun of the Qing Dynasty, when he toured the Western Tianmu Mountain in the south, granted it the title of "big tree king". However, due to man-made damage and environmental impact, it died in the 1930s.

At the top right of the "big tree king", Cryptomeria fortunei No. 141 has a volume of more than 75.4 cubic meters. It grows vigorously and has been recognized as the new big tree king of Tianmu Mountain. Experts believe that the Cryptomeria fortunei group in Tianmu Mountain is rare in the world and can be called a unique one in China.
