Dongyuan Park
Dongyuan park is located in the south of Shengli East Street and the west of Weizhou Road, Kuiwen District, Weifang City. It was founded in 1982 and officially opened to the public on October 1, 1985. The garden covers an area of 50000 square meters, including more than 12000 square meters of mountain and Lake area. It is a landscape garden with plant landscaping as the main part and the combination of ancient and modern. In 1990, it was awarded the second prize of excellent green space in the provincial urban green space selection.
Development history
Founded in 1982, it was officially opened to the outside world on October 1, 1985. The garden covers an area of 50000 square meters, including more than 12000 square meters of mountain and Lake area. It is a landscape garden with plant landscaping as the main part and the combination of ancient and modern. In 1990, it was awarded the second prize of excellent green space in the provincial urban green space selection, and in 1997, it was awarded the civilization demonstration window by the former Provincial Construction Committee. The park used to be closed management. Since 1997, it has carried out two large-scale renovation, with a total investment of 6.5 million yuan.
