Hu's four room ancestral hall, the former site of the headquarters of the third Red Army, is located at the east foot of Wuchi village, Wuchi Township, Yongjia County. It is a wooden structure with five rooms and two entrances, left and right corridors, hanging on the top of the mountain and courtyard. It was first built in 1728, the sixth year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty. In May 1930, the Red Army guerrillas in southern Zhejiang were formally established as the 13th army of the workers' and peasants' Red Army. Hu gongmian, commander of the army, Jin Guanzhen, political commissar, and Chen Wenjie, director of the political department were the military headquarters, which was located in the nearby mountainous areas.

Covering an area of 1467 square meters, the former site of the military headquarters was listed as a cultural relic protection unit by Zhejiang Province in December 1989, as a patriotic national defense education base of Wenzhou City by Propaganda Department of Wenzhou municipal Party committee and Wenzhou military division in July 1994, as a patriotism education base of Yongjia County by Yongjia County Party committee and county government in November 1995, and as a patriotism education base of Zhejiang Province by Zhejiang provincial Party committee and provincial government in December 1996 At the same time, it is listed as a patriotic education base by Wenzhou University, Zhejiang Normal University, Red Dragonfly Group Co., Ltd. and other schools and enterprises. In September 2005, it was rated as the classic scenic spot of red tourism in Zhejiang Province by the Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the provincial tourism administration, and was awarded "Zhejiang Youth Red Tourism boutique route". In 2006 and 2007, it was awarded the advanced unit of patriotism education base by the Propaganda Department of the municipal Party Committee for two consecutive years.
