The origin of the name
The original work "the soul of the Cape". It is said that in 1622, the Dutch landed on the beach near the dog ring. As a result, they were defeated by the Portuguese soldiers. Many Dutch soldiers died here, and their souls wandered here, so they are called "Cape spirits". Later, the name was changed from "soul" to "cloud".
"Queen Mary II" actually refers to the queen of Portugal, D. Maria II. However, the Chinese people in the past did not know that she was the queen but not the queen, so they made a mistake in the translation.
Maria
Maria II declared Macao a free port on November 20, 1845, and sent amarius to Macao as governor in 1846. Since then, Portugal has actually governed Macao.
