Manjusri Hall

Manjusri hall for the Manjusri Bodhisattva, riding under the green lion, two statues of children around plastic. He wants to leave his children and grandchildren's feet, and the Golden Rooster likes to hold a grain of rice to support the Luohan monks in ten directions." A cast iron cloud plate is suspended under the eaves outside the hall, which is a tool for Zhai worship in the temple. Manjusri Hall of Shaolin Temple was burned in 1928 and rebuilt in 1983.

Bodhisattva Manjusri

The full name of Manjusri is Manjusri, which means "wonderful virtue" and "wonderful auspiciousness". Together with Guanyin, Puxian and dizang, Manjusri is called the four Bodhisattvas.

It is said that Manjusri Bodhisattva's wisdom and eloquence is the first among all the great bodhisattvas. In the meeting of Bodhisattvas, he sings and answers everywhere, which is also called "great wisdom and benefit Bodhisattva".

The typical Dharma image of Manjusri Bodhisattva is tied in a bun, holding a sword, sitting on a lotus throne and riding on a lion. This is a symbol of wisdom, sharp eloquence and ferocity. His good name is Manjusri Dazhi.
