--Shouan temple was built in the Song Dynasty and has a history of more than 700 years. It is one of the four ancient temples in Chongming Island.
--The existing Shouan temple was rebuilt in 1983. In addition to the majestic Hall of the main building, the Sansheng hall and Tianwang hall also have unique charm.
--A huge jade Reclining Buddha on the second floor of the west chamber in the temple, weighing 13 tons and more than 6 meters long, is the largest jade Reclining Buddha in Shanghai.
--It is connected with jin'ao mountain, and reflects the charm of the ancient temples in the deep mountains, as well as the elegant scenery of the famous temples in Pingchuan.

2. Public transport:
① Shenchong bus line (west gate bus station of Chengqiao town to North junction station of Zhongshan North Road) goes directly to Chengqiao town;
② In Baoshan District, you can take Baoyang road ferry to Baozhen ferry, and then take Nanbao line to Chengqiao town;
③ Take Pengshi line (Pengpu new village to Shidongkou wharf) to Shidongkou wharf of Baoshan, and then take a boat to Chengqiao town of Chongming. Go eastward along Nanmen Road, pass the intersection of Dongmen Road, and then go eastward along Aoshan road. Jinaoshan Park and Shouan temple are located on Aoshan Road, Qiaozhen town (nanmengang), Chongming County.
