If the river tracing class on bridge 12 is the junior class, the river tracing class on bridge 18 is the intermediate class. Compared with the valley of No. 12 bridge, the sweet potato Liao Valley under No. 18 bridge is steep, with a drop of nearly 100 meters. Standing under No. 18 bridge, overlooking the valley, it is magnificent, and sometimes swallows can be seen flying among the valleys.
The starting point of tracing the stream is hidden behind the houses. After walking down the steep one-man trail hidden between the woods and the grass, we finally reach the starting point of tracing the stream. Don't think that this road is difficult enough, and the following tracing journey is even more challenging.
Walking down the stream, you soon encounter the first deep pool. Looking back at the No. 18 bridge, you can see a line of sky between the cliffs on both sides. Standing at the bottom of the canyon, you feel that the noise of vehicles running on the road is so far away from you, but it seems that you can reach it. There are six deep pools along the way. When the hinterland of the stream is not enough to walk, or it is dangerous to swim through the pool, sometimes you have to climb up the mountain wall with the help of the rope left by the predecessors, and then go around the deep pool from a higher path to return to the stream. Next to one of the pools, there are vines as thick as children's arms, which extend from the trees to the valley. You can swing here to experience the feeling of being Mount Tai.
