"Red women's Army memorial park" is a cultural tourism area built to commemorate the "women's army spy company of the second independent division of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army" born during the second Civil Revolutionary War.

The Red Detachment of women Memorial Park is a national patriotism education base, Hainan patriotism education base and national Red Tourism classic scenic spot. It is located in wanshipo, Jiaji Town, Qionghai City.

The memorial park is composed of peace square, memorial square, Red Detachment of women memorial hall, Yelin village and tourism service area, covering an area of 200 mu. Peace square is located in the front of the Memorial Park, which can accommodate thousands of people. The background of the center stage is a giant sculpture of women's army bamboo hat, bugle, peace dove and broken chain.

"Red women's Army memorial park" is a cultural tourism area built to commemorate the "women's army spy company of the second independent division of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army" born during the second Civil Revolutionary War. Located in the street park of Jiaji Town, Qionghai City, the statue is made of granite. It is 3.7 meters high and 6.8 meters high, sitting from north to south. The base is paved with stone slabs, which are hexagonal in shape and surrounded by stone railings, covering an area of 40 square meters. Behind the statue are gardens, flower beds, etc. The statue fully shows the heroic spirit of the dusty generation of Red Army women soldiers in straw sandals and bamboo hat on their shoulders.

On December 5, 2016, the National Tourism Administration announced that the Red Detachment of women Memorial Park was warned.

Brief introduction of the park

The Red Detachment of women Memorial Park is a national patriotism education base, Hainan patriotism education base and national Red Tourism classic scenic spot. It is located in wanshipo, Jiaji Town, Qionghai City. Hainan Huihai Tourism Development Co., Ltd. is responsible for investment, construction, operation and management.

The memorial park is composed of peace square, memorial square, Red Detachment of women memorial hall, Yelin village and tourism service area, covering an area of 200 mu. Peace square is located in the front of the Memorial Park, which can accommodate thousands of people. The background of the center stage is a giant sculpture of women's army bamboo hat, bugle, peace dove and broken chain. The memorial square is located in the northwest of the memorial park. There are statues of the red women's Army soldiers, relief walls showing the fighting history of the red women's army, a garden for cultivating Memorial trees and a venue for watching the quyi performances of the red women's Army soldiers. Located in the southwest of the Memorial Park, Yelin village looks like "Nanfu". It has a book and craft souvenir exhibition room and a residential area. The residential area is inhabited by four surviving red women's army veterans in their 90s. Located on the west side of the Memorial Park, the tourist service area is equipped with Red Detachment of women shooting playground, island clothing, local specialty sales mall and guest dining place. The memorial garden is full of trees, green grass and fragrant flowers. Hainan Huihai Tourism Development Co., Ltd. started to build the Red Detachment of women Memorial Park in 1998, with an investment of 25 million yuan. It was built and opened on May 1, 2000 for guests to visit.

In 2002, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee allocated 3 million yuan to build the Red Detachment of women Memorial Hall. The three storey memorial hall is located in the center of the Memorial Park, covering an area of 770 square meters and a building area of 1520 square meters. On the vestibule of the memorial hall stands a giant statue of the red women's Army soldiers, which is solemn and valiant. The front of the memorial is in the shape of eight one five stars, which shows that the women's army company belongs to the people's army system, symbolizing the red women's Military Revolutionary Armed Forces defending the red Soviet regime. The first floor of the museum is equipped with a Red Detachment exhibition hall, and the second floor is equipped with a projection hall and a live multimedia hall. Since 2000, the memorial has received 500000 guests from home and abroad every year. More than 20 party and state leaders, including Jia Qinglin and Li Changchun, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, visited the memorial park.

In June 2001, the memorial park was designated as the "national patriotic education demonstration base" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee. In March 2005, it was designated as a national Red Tourism classic scenic spot by the national development and Reform Commission, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and the National Tourism Administration. On May 1, 1931, the secret service company of the women's army of the third regiment of the second independent division of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army (the Red Detachment of women) was established in Lehui county (now Qionghai City). There are three platoons in the company, with a total of 100 people. All of them are women except for porters and buglers. The women's army company has successively participated in the battles of attacking Wenshi, learning Taoism, China worshipping and demarcation, and has been tactfully and flexibly cooperating with the main forces of the third red regiment. In 1932, the QiongYa special committee of the Communist Party of China established the second company of the secret service company of the women's army. In the second anti "encirclement and suppression" struggle in QiongYa, some of the officers and soldiers of the women's army company died bravely, some were separated and arrested, and the first and second companies of the women's army disintegrated one after another. Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai spoke highly of the red women's army and praised it as "a model of world revolution".

Peace square

The statue of peace dove is located in the center of peace square. It is 8 meters high, 12 meters long and 4 meters wide. It is composed of chain, hat, horn and peace dove. It is the symbol statue of peace square. It symbolizes the history of QiongYa women's resistance to oppression, struggle for freedom and pursuit of liberation. The whole statue organically integrates the eternal theme of war and peace.

Park Evaluation

Qionghai City, where the Red Detachment of women Memorial Park is located, is the site of Boao Forum for Asia, a large-scale permanent international conference site.
