Qianba grassland, also known as qianba ranch, was once named qianba ranch. It is located at 25km of Panshan Road on the South Bank of Bailong River in Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, with an altitude of 2100-3090m and a total area of 1075000 mu.

Qianba grassland extends to dishuiya of watershed in the East, shaliuliang in the west, qiangouba in the South and the edge beam of Qianliang in the north. The terrain is 22 km long from east to west and 17 km from north to south. The territory to eight dam, eight pit, three Ping, six holes, two pools and famous.

Qianba ranch, formerly known as qianba ranch, was built by the Survey Institute of Gansu animal husbandry department in 1956.

After the cancellation of the provincial animal husbandry department in 1961, it was under the jurisdiction of Gansu Agricultural Reclamation Bureau.

In 1966, it was taken over by the 15th regiment of the 11th division of the production and Construction Corps of Lanzhou Military Region.

It was handed over to Wudu district for administration in 1974. In the same year, the ranch provided 50 army horses.

Qianba grassland, located in Longnan City, Gansu Province, Wudu District, Bailongjiang mountain road 25 kilometers south. It is connected with Hanwang town and jugan town in the East, jugan town and sheshu town in Wenxian County in the south, yaozhai town and sheshu town in Wenxian County in the West and yaozhai town and Hanwang town in the north. It is 12 kilometers long from east to west and 9 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 10075 mu (about 67.2 square kilometers). The general site is located in qianba.

topographic features

Qianba pasture is located in the alpine area on the South Bank of Bailong River. The grassland belongs to Minshan Mountain system and Leigu Mountain Branch, with an altitude of 2100-3090 meters. Due to the change of crustal movement and volcanic magma eruption, it has formed a special geological landform integrating high mountains, hills, basins and small plains, forming a natural and beautiful alpine pasture, which has become a "hanging over the head" grassland wonder.

climate

The climate is wet and cold, with annual rainfall of 600-800mm. Frost free period is 100 to 150 days. The highest temperature is 27 ℃ and the lowest is - 20 ℃.

hydrology

There are 28 springs in the whole country, four seasons and 24 pools. The annual storage volume is more than 1400 cubic meters, and the distribution is even. Especially the water source of the fragrance garden is more abundant, and the flow rate is 0.12m3/ seconds. The water is clear and transparent. It is famous for its clear appearance and refreshing heart and spleen.

Animal resources

At present, the scenic spot raises more than 3000 Head (s) of hequma, yak, Yangba sheep, black fur sheep, Tibetan sheep and goat, and many kinds of ornamental rare wild animals, such as wild deer, fox, argali sheep, red bear, giant salamander, horned chicken, golden pheasant and pheasant, live in the territory. It is a tourist resort for spring outing, summer summer summer, autumn fog and winter snow.

Grassland pastoral areas are basically distributed in the northeast, with mianliu district as the center, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. The grassland covers an area of 72000 mu. The herbage is mainly composed of Compositae, Leguminosae and Gramineae. The growth period of herbage is as long as 7 months. The grassland vegetation is good and the herbage grows luxuriantly. It is estimated that the average yield of fresh grass per mu is more than 800 kg, the total yield of forage is 60 million kg, and the livestock carrying capacity is 5000 cattle units or 25000 sheep units.

Introduction to scenic spots

Qianba grassland is flat and vast, with lush grass; the forest area is densely covered with clouds and pines, the forest is quiet, the water is clear, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant; the mountains are undulating and surrounded by mountains; there are many scenic spots, including Baba (front dam, back dam, shimaba, Lubei dam, Heichi dam, mamianpo dam, shigeda dam, shuikuong dam), Bakeng (huangcaokeng, xiaohuangkeng, tangongzi pit, Baishuikeng, dacaopo pit, Zhuwei pit, Daye cave) Pit, chair pit), three Ping (cloud Dong Ping, Kung Dong Ping, fragrance Ping), six holes (Huang Caodong, big Ye cave, three Ye hole, Yang Ye dangerous cave, ice spring cave, new cave), two pools (Ming Chi, Tianchi) reflect each other, which is a good place for urban residents to spring outing, summer summer vacation, autumn fog watching and winter snow watching; the folk style of residential area and natural pasture are mutually exclusive, and scenery is unique. It is an ideal place for sightseeing, tourism, exploration, leisure and entertainment.

Infrastructure status

Qianba grassland is divided into eight large areas for development, and a tourist attraction integrating tourism, leisure and vacation, fitness and recuperation, entertainment and shopping, RV camp and self driving tour has been built. The main contents include natural scenery scenic area, climbing exploration area, high-quality flower viewing area, horse racing field, archery field, wrestling field, winter ice and snow playground, mountain viewing plank road, shopping corridor, viewing platform construction, etc.

As of March 2017, the road leading to the scenic spot is still under construction. At the same time, it is planned to build a tourist distribution center, a self driving car camp, and develop ski resorts, grass skiing grounds and other related amusement facilities. At present, the overall planning of the scenic spot has been completed, and some amusement facilities have been completed.
