brief introduction
The full name of Fengshan mountain is "Sanyang cloud". The so-called "Sanyang" means that the sun shines from Mao to noon to you“
Fengshan is called "Sanyang cloud" because it takes the color of the mountain and the shape of the mountain is like the Red Phoenix and the rising sun. It is said that one day, an old Taoist suddenly came to us. He was a crane haired boy with untidy clothes. He slept soundly in the earth cave at the foot of Fengshan mountain in winter. He didn't wake up for many days. Sometimes he woke up, cleaned up with a broom, or closed his eyes. He never saw smoke and fire in the dining room. It was said to be a myth for a time. One day, Yihua mountain Taoist Road passed through Shizhou, occasionally passed through tudong, and then bowed to his head. He chanted a poem: "in front of the curtain of the left cave, the green water flows, and white clouds surround the top of Fengshan. I haven't seen Chen Zu for a few years, but now I meet Xi Yi in Shizhou. " One word broke Chen Xiyi's name, which caused a sensation in the whole city for a while. The crowd came to see him. Chen Xiyi has died of no illness, still cross legged meditation. Face is still, fragrant, white clouds around the hole, slowly rising into the sky. The bone was buried next to the cave. Later, the Huashan Taoist gathered people to collect the bones and carried them to the south of the city. He felt that the bones were so heavy that he could not walk. So he had to return to Fengshan and bury them in the cave. Later generations respected Chen Xiyi as the ancestor of the world, specializing in Fengshan temple, namely Baiyun cave. Since then, there have been many incense worshippers, worshipping Chen Xiyi as a God.
Historical evolution
According to historical records, Fengshan Taoist temple was first built in the Song Dynasty. It was destroyed by war in the Yuan Dynasty. The Xiyi temple was rebuilt in the 17th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1384 A.D.), and then expanded four times in the 4th year of Xuande (1429 A.D.), the 6th year of Zhengtong (1441 A.D.), the 7th year of Jingtai (1456 A.D.) and the 6th year of Chenghua (1470 A.D.), making it a Taoist temple. In the 19th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty, it was expanded again. Qiongyao, a fairy mountain surrounded by white clouds, was built to offer sacrifices to Chen Xiyi, the Taoist ancestor of the Song Dynasty, and his disciple sun Yunji, the Taoist priest of the Ming Dynasty. As the tablet near the hall of immortal says, sun Yunji was born in the Ming Dynasty. At the age of seven, he practiced Taoism. At the age of seventeen, he came to Fengxian Taoist temple. Chen Xiyi was determined to practice hard, refine the essence, clean out the elixir, help people and cure diseases for more than forty years. During the 30 years from the fourth year of Xuande (1429) to the sixth year of Chenghua (1470), sun Yunji once presided over the construction and maintenance of tianzhenguan four times, which made it a large scale. At that time, people thought that it was very helpful to promote the development of Taoism and the preservation of scenic spots in this prefecture, and commented that "Mr. Sun has boundless morality".

The temple is divided into upper and lower courts, with different layouts. The main buildings are Yuhuang building, Sanqing hall, sun Zhenren hall, reading building, Sanguan building, Leigong hall, Baiyun Cave (chentuan Hall), and the auxiliary buildings are related to emperor temple, earth temple, Wudao temple, etc. Yuhuanglou is a structure with double eaves on the top of Xieshan mountain. Introduction of facilities
The main body of the upper court is the hall of real people, which is the place to worship the immortal sun Yunji. Two murals are painted on the walls of the hall of immortal. One shows sun Yunji being taught the five thunder scriptures by Chen Xiyi. The other shows sun Yunji leaving an old pair of shoes for his disciple Jiang Haoyuan after he became an immortal, saying that he can wear them when he wants to find him. But a few years later, when Jiang Haoyuan took out his shoes, he found that they were worn out and threw them out. In an instant, the shoes turned into cranes and flew away. Jiang Haoyuan also lost the chance to become an immortal. Jiang Haoyuan had to live in a narrow shrine on the right side of the hall of immortal, where his tomb was. The appearance of the hall is like a pavilion. In fact, entering the hall, you can see that it is a common cave in Northwest Shanxi. Sun Yunji, sun Zhenren, is sitting in the center of the cave. The statue of God is shining with golden light and surrounded by smoke. It's really a kind of immortal. There are many banners around the statues, most of which are written "respond to every request", most of which come from the urban and rural areas of lishimoto city.

The earliest extant tablet of Fengshan Taoist temple was inscribed in the seventh lunar month of the first year of Jingtai (1450). It was written by Li Xun, who was a Confucianist at that time. It was established after the success of praying for rain that year. On July 15, 1456, the sixth year of Jingtai, sun Yunji's disciples carved a tablet to praise him, which seems to show that sun Yunji's achievements were complete. In the 19th year of Chenghua, when sun Yunji was about 60 years old, Jiang Haoyuan and other disciples donated money to build a statue in memory of their teacher.
After more than 40 years of hard work, he finally got the way. Later, he killed demons and prayed for blessings for the people. He was deeply loved by the people. After his emergence, he was worshipped and respected with his grandmaster Chen Xiyi, and he was also known as sun Zhenren. There is another origin of "real person". It is said that one year, Taoist sun thought that he should have a title for his Taoism, so he went to see the emperor. The emperor asked him what skills you have. He said that I can eat needles. The emperor asked him to demonstrate on the spot. He swallowed the needles one by one from his mouth and connected them into a thread one by one from his fingers. The emperor said, "you are a needle (real) person! ”As soon as he heard it, he quickly gave thanks and became a real person.
On the left side of the hall of immortal is the Sanqing hall, which is dedicated to the moral God (i.e. Laozi), the primitive God and the Lingbao God. It has three wide faces and two deep depths, hanging on the top of the mountain, and is decorated with cloth tiles. Yuhuanglou, single eaves Xieshan, cloth tile, glass ridge beast. On the second floor, there is a circular corridor, which can be climbed up along the wooden ladder. There is a statue of the Jade Emperor inside, and a statue of Lingguan downstairs. On the right side of the gate stand two stone tablets, which were erected during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. On the opposite side of the hall is the reading building, formerly known as Fengshan Academy. According to the county annals, it has trained many scholars. There are Baiyun cave, Leigong hall, Sanguan building, lingxu building (Yuhuang building), etc. Baiyun cave is a place dedicated to Chen Xiyi, a famous Taoist in Song Dynasty, so it is now called Chen Xiyi hall. The exterior walls of each building have ancient stone tablets depicting the history of the Taoist temple. Chen Xiyi hall, also known as Baiyun cave, is the main building of the lower courtyard. It has three rooms wide and four rafters deep. It is hung on the glass roof of the mountain, with a front porch. The front eaves are made of three lower walls and seven pavilions, and the Ming Dynasty has a huge oblique effect. Inside the hall is a mural of the Ming Dynasty with an area of nearly 30 square meters. The upper part of the mural is the "ten times God God show" and the lower part is the "panoramic bird's-eye view of Wudang Mountain". It is a complete mural with historical, scientific and artistic value. On the west side of the Yuhuang tower stands the earliest stone tablet of Fengshan Taoist temple - "rebuilding Xiyi temple, the founder of Sanyang mountain". At the bottom of the mountain are the God of wealth temple, earth temple and Guandi temple.
Fengshan Temple Fair
On the 26th of the first lunar month, Fengshan temple fair is held annually in Guannei. This day is the birthday of Taoist Mr. Sun Yunji. It is said that many immortals from heaven and earth will come to celebrate his birthday. If you go up the mountain on the same day, you will have a chance to be favored by the immortal. Therefore, on that day, the small Fengshan mountain was decorated with lanterns, which reflected the whole mountain like a fairyland. The villagers were in an endless stream, the stone path was full of water, and there was little place to stand in the view. The smell of incense and firecrackers could be heard all the way down the mountain, which was more prosperous than the Chinese New Year. Before and after the temple fair, there was an endless stream of pilgrims to the mountain. The whole mountain courtyard was up and down, inside and outside, with brilliant lights, fireworks, firecrackers, and the sound of shaking the city.
