The most famous one is hongshanquan. The flow rate of the spring is 1.2 cubic meters per second, and the circumference of the spring is about 50 meters. The water is jade like, crystal clear, reflected by the rays, and rippling. Fountainhead used to be called Yuzu spring, because some Yuzu fell on Huqi mountain and came out of Ganquan, so it was named. Li Daoyuan of the Northern Wei Dynasty wrote in shuijingzhu: "Shengshui comes from huqishan and flows eastward into Fen." Therefore, the source of Hongshan is also known as "Shengshui", which is one of the ten sceneries recorded in Jiexiu's old records.
temple
In the south of the source of Hongshan mountain, the temple of Yuanyuan was built according to the mountain and water. The temple was founded earlier and rebuilt in 997. In the 16th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1588), when the temple was rebuilt, it was moved to the East, and the spring was placed on the same axis, so that the temple and the pool could complement each other, the sun and the moon were inlaid, which was very spectacular. Yuanyuan temple has been built on a grand scale and is known as "Huagong". There are Mountain Gate, stage, Xian hall, main hall, East and west side hall, and bell and Drum Tower with six corners and sharp top. Under the eaves of each hall, there are dozens of stone tablets of past dynasties, recording the rise and fall of the temple and the historical changes. The whole temple is full of pine and cypress. Every year on the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar, it is said to be the birthday of Yuanshen. In the old days, villagers came to offer sacrifices, burning incense and firing guns in return for their thoughts. After the sacrifice, the sacrifice is thrown into the pool, which is called "divine food". Over time, the traditional Hongshan temple fair is formed.
In the temple, the inscription of Yuanshen (997) in the third year of the reign of emperor Dao of the Song Dynasty contains: "beautiful women travel, parallel Tian chariots and horses, draw hubs and carve saddles; poets and immortals play with water and love mountains; fishermen and woodcutters seek rivers and streams.
