Zhenlong ancient city

Zhenlong ancient city is located in Bafang village, Zhenlong Town, Xinyi City. Under the trend of East and West rivers, it converges in Jianjiang River and becomes Doujiang River, so it was called "douzhou" in ancient times. The ancient city was built in the fourth year of Wude (621 AD) of Tang Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1300 years. It is the place where the counties and prefectures were ruled together in the past dynasties.

1. Dahong Kingdom Palace (Academy): the Academy was built in 1354 A.D. after construction, there are xianguan, shengyufangmen, lingxingmen, Fengchi in the front, and Dahong in the middle

The gate, mingguan temple, Xiangsheng temple, Dacheng hall, east-west corridor, followed by Chongsheng temple, Zunjing temple, Minglun hall, with green tiles on the wall, are solemn and majestic, reflecting the fine architectural art of the Chinese nation. In 1861, Chen Jinjiang, one of the leaders of the heaven and Earth Society of Guangdong, led the peasant volunteers to capture Xinyi County, known as the king of Nanxing, and established the Dahong kingdom. He led the peasant volunteers to fight against the Qing Dynasty and became one of the important revolutionary sites of modern peasant uprising in Guangdong Province. There are Dacheng hall, dongxilang, Dacheng gate, Lingxing gate, xianguan gate and Shengyu gate. In 1990, it was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit.

2. Gate of civilization: it was built in 1813 of the Qing Dynasty. It is 24 meters in front of the Xuegong, 14 meters wide and 30 meters high. It is the only preserved gate of the millennium old city, which means "building Jiege on Qingyun Road, offering Qina and opening civilization". In 1984, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Maoming City.

3. Ancient library group: the ancient city of Zhenlong has been the academic center of Southwest Guangdong for generations, with students from all over the country gathering and celebrities coming out in large numbers, which has greatly promoted the development of politics, culture and education in southwest Guangdong. The ancient academies, centered around the Academy, are scattered and orderly. Now there are as many as 13 well preserved academies and ancestral halls. Xinyi Daren mountain

Darenshan scenic spot is located in the suburb of Xinyi, with convenient transportation. Daren mountain, known as Yunxiu mountain in ancient times, is one of the eight scenic spots in Xinyi City. Xijiang hot spring

Xijiang hot spring resort, located in Xijiang village, Beijie Town, Xinyi suburb, is 12 kilometers away from Xinyi City, with a second-class highway.

The resort is surrounded by undulating mountains and emerald hills, with beautiful scenery and charming scenery, full of wild interest of nature.
