Historically, it used to be a high-level military temple in the south of Hunan Province, which was jointly worshipped by Yongzhou, Hengyang, Shaoyang, Chenzhou and other prefectures. It has been proved that there were some important military activities in Qing Dynasty, such as vowing to go to war, military intelligence consultation, and repaying victory.

The two female dragons embrace the little dragon. The shape of the little dragon is lively, innocent and exquisite. It is one of the few ancient sculpture works. In front of the statue of Guan Yunchang in the hall, there were couplets such as "holding a candle to avoid suspicion, thinking of the Han Dynasty in this night's heart, Huarong was not a virtuous man, and there was no Cao in the eye on that day", which were destroyed in the 1950s. There was a horizontal plaque on the top of the main door of the hall, which was written with the four characters of "and heaven and earth ginseng". It was presented by the Lingling army commander, batulu Changming, in 1886. There are two stone lions in front of the base of the hall, and clouds and dragons in relief on the blue stone Danlong, which are magnificent. During the "Cultural Revolution", the local Institute of agricultural tools was buried underground when building houses.
