Tangwangling is located in the west of tushanji village, Yandianlou Township, 10 kilometers south of Caoxian County, and about 3 kilometers east of Heshang highway. The existing seal soil is 70 meters long from north to south, 50 meters wide from east to west and 1.5 meters high. In front of the mausoleum, there are "rebuilt Tang mausoleum steles" in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Shang Tang, also known as Tian Yi, Da Yi, Wu Tang, Wu Tang and Tian Yi Chang, is the founder of Shang Dynasty. Shangtang is the king of benevolent people. For example, according to the records of Yin Ben in historical records, when Chengtang went out hunting, he saw a man with a net to catch birds, and he prayed, "those who fly from the sky, those who run underground, and those who come from all directions enter my net." After hearing this, Cheng Tang thought it was too cruel, so he asked the man to withdraw from the three sides of the net, and prayed: "if you want to go left, go left, if you want to go right, go right, if you don't obey, go into the net." This is the origin of the idiom "three sides of the net". Shangtang won the heart of the world because of its kindness. Meng Ke said, "if the people want it, it's like a drought, it's like rain." Under his treatment, the Shang people had a stable mind, developed production and became increasingly powerful. At last, they destroyed Xia at one stroke and established the Shang Dynasty, with the capital of Yuhao.
Tang Wang mausoleum in Bozhou
Located on the east side of North Qiaoling road and the North Bank of Wohe River, Bozhou Tangwang mausoleum is also known as Tangwang mausoleum. In September 1981, Anhui Provincial People's government announced it as a key cultural relic protection unit of the whole province.
Its merits and virtues are respected by people. There is also a touching folklore about King Cheng Tang. It is said that not long after the founding of the Shang Dynasty, Bozhou suffered from successive years of severe drought, and the rain did not fall. It was useless to use all kinds of methods to ask for rain. Later, the wizard divined one by one, saying that only when people were sacrificed could it rain. King Tang sighed and said, "asking for rain is for the benefit of the people. How can the people make sacrifices?" After a while, he said categorically: "if it must be so, let me do it!" So he chose an auspicious day. On that day, King Tang took a bath, cut off his hair and nails, wore a white coarse cloth dress, knelt down in front of the altar and prayed, "God, I am a guilty man. Don't involve all the people. All the people are guilty of me. Please punish me." Then with the help of the wizard, they boarded high firewood piles to pray for rain. The people knelt around the firewood piles and looked at the figure of King Xian. Tears welled up one by one. When the time came for the fire, the witches lit the firewood piles with torches. For a moment, the smoke rolled and surrounded King Tang in the fireworks. Coincidentally, the sky was thundering and the rain poured down. In cheers, people helped Tang Wang down from the firewood pile and sent him back to the palace. King Cheng Tang reigned for 13 years and was buried in Bozhou after his death. The story of Sanglin praying for rain has been passed down from generation to generation, and the merits of King Cheng Tang have been praised by the world. The earliest record of the tomb of King Tang can be found in Huanglan written by Cao Pi in the Three Kingdoms period: "Fengtou village in the north of vortex, there is the old fortress of Chengtang.". Li Daoyuan recorded in shuijingzhu that Shangcheng Tang was buried in the Yang of Wohe river. According to the records of Bozhou, there is a mulberry forest in the west of Tang mausoleum, which is the place where King Cheng Tang prayed for rain. There is a tong palace in the northeast, which is the place where Yi Yin imprisoned Taijia. In 1936, it was established as "tangling Park", in which flowers and trees are widely planted, pines and cypresses are evergreen, pavilions and pavilions are beautiful, and winding paths lead to seclusion. The existing tangling is a large round mound, more than 6 meters high and nearly 60 meters in circumference. A 500 year old Melia azedarach tree grows tenaciously in the south of the tomb
