Emei peak is located in Beixinqiao Township, Taining County, 24 kilometers away from the county seat. It belongs to the southwest foot of the middle section of Wuyi Mountains. The main peak of Emei peak is 1714 meters above sea level, which is the seventh highest peak in Fujian Province. In 2000, it was approved by the provincial government as a provincial nature reserve, covering an area of more than 2700 hectares. It is named because the mountain is similar to Emei in Sichuan Province. Ancient trees and vines, exotic flowers and herbs, steep cliffs and dangerous peaks, shrubs and grasslands, birds and animals, insects and birds, cicadas, clouds and fog are the portraits of Mount Emei.
