In the Ming Dynasty, because Nanshan was renamed Shenguang mountain, Shouqing temple was changed to Shenguang temple. In 1984, at the initiative of master Chang Tzu (Shi Shanguang, the sixth generation disciple of the eminent monk he Nanfeng), who presided over longfu temple in Thailand, with donations from Thailand, India, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, Shenguang temple was rebuilt under the original temple, and the original site was rebuilt as the ancestral hall. The architecture of Shenguang Temple imitates the architectural style of Thai temples, with red walls and green tiles. It is majestic and solemn, covering an area of about 8000 square meters and a construction area of 2050 square meters. There are Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, Fatang, Haihui tower, sutra Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, dizang Hall, east-west wing room, jade Buddha Hall, Zen hall, memorial hall, Zhai restaurant, etc. There are five hundred Arhats in the main hall, and there are magnetic paintings about the origin of Sakyamuni's becoming Buddha. Shigu King
From the mountain pass on the west side of Shenguang, you can see a thousand year old banyan and an ancient tea pavilion, and there is a huge stone beside it, which is called "shigu king". According to legend, shigu king was a national hero in ancient Xingning. He was honored as a God for his meritorious service in protecting his family and defending his country. In memory of this legendary hero, later generations set up an altar and a palace nearby. There is a horizontal plaque on the top of the altar, which is written in lacquer and gold with the words "Yan Gu Tian Quan". These four words can be divided into "one man in Yamaguchi, king of Shigu".
Mochi and Tanhua Academy
There is a stone spring beside Mochi temple in Shanao, east of Shenguang. The spring water gushes from the rocks and flows continuously. The spring water is clear, pure and free of impurities. The water tastes sweet. According to the records of Zhengde Xingning annals compiled by the Ming Dynasty, Luo Mengjiao, a scholar of the Song Dynasty, studied here. He often studied in linchi by the spring and washed inkstone pool. The ink color was exhausted in the water, so he got the name of inkstone pool. Luo Mengjiao studied hard in high school and was awarded a bachelor's degree. To commemorate him and inspire his descendants, they built a flower exploring Temple beside the ink pool, and later changed it into a flower exploring Academy.
Mochi Temple
There is an old temple beside Mochi and Tanhua Academy - Mochi temple. In the Mochi temple, there are the largest Avalokitesvara Buddha statue with thousand hands and thousand eyes in Guangdong Province and the 500 Arhats statue in the completed Mahavira hall. Cultural allusions
He Ziyuan, a native of Xingning, Guangdong Province, is a veteran of the 1911 Revolution and a pioneer of modern Chinese education. He and Qiu Fengjia are both revolutionary allies of the same Geng and the same trench. They are like brothers and sisters, sharing weal and woe, and have always maintained close ties.
On May 22, 1907, the Alliance launched an anti Qing uprising in Huanggang, Chaozhou. More than 5000 people participated in the uprising in Chaomei area, and more than 200 people died. He was outnumbered and defeated on the 6th. On the afternoon of the 27th, the rebel army announced its disbandment, and the commander in chief Chen Yongbo and Yu Jicheng were forced to flee Hong Kong. He Ziyuan and others immediately returned to Meizhou. Soon after, the identities of Xiao Huichang, Jiang Baijian, Yao Zhuying, Zhang Huagu and others were exposed, and they were forced to take refuge in Shima jianzhuding tea farm, the ancestral estate of he Ziyuan's family.
In order to rescue the revolutionaries and discuss the next action plan, Qiu Fengjia came to Xingning many times in the autumn of the same year to discuss countermeasures with he Ziyuan. After that, the party members in distress got out of danger with the help of he Ziyuan and Qiu Fengjia.
During the Double Ninth Festival, he Ziyuan took Qiu Fengjia and other revolutionaries to visit Shenguang mountain. It was an extraordinary time when the anti Qing movement was at a low ebb. The revolutionaries who were hiding in Tibet climbed the magnificent Shenguang mountain together and looked out into the distance. They could see that there were many mountains and obstacles, the clouds were flourishing, the green was about to drop, and the mountains were beautiful! He Ziyuan can't help but recite "qingpingle · Dingwei Chongyang brings Canghai brother to Shengguang mountain to reminisce.".

Qingpingle
Golden autumn to dusk, winding road lost way, ask how many yellow flowers bloom? There are countless tourists on the mountain. In those days, the autumn wind was blowing together, but now we climb the peak together. Looking at the high places of the world, the mountains are covered with fog.
This song "qingpingle" is lyrical, sincere and touching. The whole poem shows the dauntless revolutionary spirit and heroic spirit of the old revolutionaries such as he Ziyuan and Qiu Fengjia, who are more frustrated and more courageous and never give up until they reach the goal. At the same time, it also leaves a touching story for the experienced Shenguang mountain.
