Yongan river is the mother river of Xianju, known as the "valley stream", which is clear and never dry all the year round. According to the analysis of water quality experts, it can reach the "national first class drinking water standard". The current Yongan river has a total length of 7.68 kilometers, with Xianju native bamboo rafts as tools, "the middle reaches of the small bamboo rafts stream, the two sides of the majestic green mountains.". Take a bamboo raft down the river, or like walking on the flat or rushing across dangerous beaches, far away from the bustle and noise of the city. The clear water, blue sky and distant mountains can let you enjoy the carefree warmth like water and the wonderful pastoral scenery on both sides of the Strait.

Detailed introduction

Yongan river is the mother river of Xianju. It originates from tiantangjian at the junction of Xianju and Jinyun County. After crossing the county for more than 100 kilometers, it joins with Tiantai Shifeng river at Sanjiang village in the west of Linhai City and flows into Lingjiang river. In ancient times, Yong'an river was very well-developed in shipping. There were white sails in the river, and ships were flying. Therefore, there was a view of "Nanfeng boat" in the eight sceneries of Xianju.

Today, with the rapid development of land transportation, Yong'an river no longer bears the heavy load of shipping, far away from the noise, and returns to its quiet elegance like a virgin. It looks like a crystal white drill dancing on the land of Xianju, which is particularly beautiful and refined. Experts of the national scenic spot evaluation once highly appraised that "valley stream, clear and bottomless, never dry all year round, according to the water quality analysis, can reach the first grade drinking water standard", is a rare river not polluted.

Xianju red bayberry Xianju has a history of more than 1000 years. The red bayberry tree more than 300 years ago is still "valiant". Xianju is a subtropical monsoon climate with abundant sunshine, high content of soil organic matter and moderate pH. The unique soil environment and special mountain basin topography are suitable for the growth of Myrica rubra. Xianju County has implemented the "bayberry gradient development" project, using the altitude difference to lengthen the harvesting period and marketing period of Bayberry to more than two months. Xianju now has more than 80000 mu of Bayberry base, with an annual output of more than 25000 tons of Bayberry. Xianju red bayberry is beautiful in color, sweet in taste, big in size and small in core. The bigger one is bigger than table tennis, and it matures early. It is generally available in early June. Xianju Myrica rubra has the natural medical and health care functions of relieving summer heat, promoting body fluid, diuresis and spleen, relieving thirst and cough, increasing appetite and promoting digestion. In Xianju, there is a saying: "if you eat three hundred red bayberries a day, you will never be a Xianju person.". People who have tasted the bayberry in Xianju are all amazed. As early as June 1994, the late Mr. Yan Jici, a famous scientist and former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, had a taste of the red bayberry in Xianju. He was full of praise for the red bayberry in Xianju and wrote the word "XianMei" in his own handwriting. In June 2003, the construction of Xianju 100000 Mu Myrica rubra green food base was listed in the national Spark project by the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China.
