Longji mountain

Longji mountain scenic spot is a national A-level scenic spot, located in Xincai Town, Lieshan District, Huaibei City, 20 kilometers away from the city center. The total area of the scenic spot is 90 square kilometers, of which the woodland area accounts for more than 60%. The mountain is steep with rich vegetation and various tree species. It is said that Zhang Guolao, one of the eight immortals, was born here. Longji mountain, 363 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in Huaibei area. Tourism resources are unique, especially the beautiful natural scenery of the old Dragon Ridge, just like the dragon head support arm, straight into the sky.

Longji mountain

Longji mountain, also known as laolongji and longbeiqiang, is located at the junction of Lishan Town, Lishan District, Huaibei City, Anhui Province and Yongqiao District, Suzhou city. It is about 20 kilometers away from Huaibei City and Suzhou city. However, most of them are under the jurisdiction of Suzhou Forestry Bureau, covering an area of about 90 square kilometers. It is a national AAA scenic spot and a nature reserve in Anhui Province. Connected with Suzhou Wuliu scenic spot, the highest peak is 363 meters above sea level, which is the highest in Suzhou and the highest in Huaibei. At present, it has been developed in Huaibei City.

It is said that Zhang Guo was born here. There is a folk saying that "if there are three mountains and one mountain, the emperor will be immortal". There are Dafang temple, Huilong mountain, Guanlong platform, woliushi, Longyin lake, Bianquan, guanri platform, Xianren cave and other famous scenic spots.

In 2013, national witness, starring sun Honglei, Guo Fucheng, Yu Nan and Deng Jiajia, tells a legend about a dragon's back wall with father's love and redemption. The story is based on Longji mountain.

Longji mountain scenic spot is located in Lishan town of Huaibei and Fuli town of Suzhou in Anhui Province. It is connected with Fuli town and Jiagou Wuliu scenic spot in Suzhou City in the East and south, and Suixi County in Huaibei City in the West and North.

Longji mountain has more than 7000 mu of primeval forest vegetation, dense trees, clear lakes and springs, and pleasant scenery. Many legendary landscapes are distributed here. It is surrounded by mountains, and the trees block out the sun. There are more than 900 mu of natural forest and more than 7000 mu of man-made forest around. There are more than 100 kinds of trees, such as more than 1700 years of precious trees, ancient Green Sandalwood trees, more than 800 years of oak trees, rare bodhi trees, Tiemu trees, cypress millet trees, boxwood trees, Ginkgo biloba trees, red leaf trees, Wujiaofeng trees, pines, cypresses, etc.

There are hawks, Pulsatilla, golden pheasant, thrush, owl, woodpecker and nearly 100 kinds of birds in the forest. There are more than 1000 kinds of rare Chinese herbal medicines such as ginseng and Ganoderma lucidum. In the past, birds and animals came in and out frequently, but now they have been hunted. The plan area of Longji mountain scenic area is 2177 hectares, and the focus scenic area covers an area of 5400 mu.

Main attractions

Longji mountain is full of lofty peaks, three scattered mountains, and small hills in the middle. It is a treasure land of geomantic omen. It is said that Zhang Guolao, one of the eight immortals, was born here. There is a local folk song that "three mountains and one mountain, no emperor, no God".

Cangxian cave

Located on the west side of the top of the pagoda, the cliff here is steep, the ravine is deep, and there is a thick fruit forest in front of the cave to cover the entrance. It is said that after becoming a fairy, Zhang Guo was still afraid of universal good magic, so he hid in this cave and practiced hard, so it was named "Cangxian cave".

Immortal stone

Located in the southwest slope of zangxian cave, there is a big stone more than 2 meters high with fine bottom and thin top, which can squat for one person. It is said that the immortal Zhang Guolao once sat on the top of this huge stone for Qingxiu. The local people call it "immortal stone".

The donkey rolls to the ground

On the upper slope of Xianren stone, there is a barren land of more than 30 square meters, where the vegetation is absolutely green and the surrounding trees are luxuriant. It is said that Zhang Guo's donkey often rolls here, so it doesn't grow vegetation, so it's called "donkey rolling ground".

ladder on high buildings

On the rolling slope of the God donkey, dozens of huge stones are lined up from the bottom to the top of the mountain, which looks like a ladder to the sky, so it is called "TIANTI". It is said that the immortal Zhang Guo rode a donkey upside down, that is, he walked up the ladder to heaven. Up to now, there are "donkey hoof marks" on the plane of every Boulder, which are vivid.

Longyin Lake

It is said that the queen mother held a peach party in yaochi at that time, and all the immortals brought their treasures. The old dragon king of the East China Sea also happily carried seafood and two ginseng. He swam from the southeast to the northwest, and when he came to yaochi, he found that two ginseng were missing. Embarrassed for a moment, he thought he was ashamed of the queen mother, so he couldn't get up on his knees and turned into a castle peak. It is said that when Liu Bowen cut the dragon vein in the Ming Dynasty, "one sword fell off the dragon's mouth, groaning and grabbing a pool of water" (Longyin Lake), "two swords fell off the old dragon head, breaking the vein and subduing the flat spring" (Dishui spring). Longyin lake is located at the north foot of Longji mountain. The water is as clear as a mirror, surrounded by mountains on three sides. In particular, the old Longji mountain with thousands of trees is a unique place, where there are immortals and beautiful scenery.

Bianquan

That is, the drip spring under the old dragon's ridge, the spring "Ding Dong" all the year round, is said to be the drip of the old dragon's meridians.

Heizhai wall

At the south end of laolongji, there is a mountain village with an area of 100 mu. Due to the long-term weathering, the wall of the village turns black. The local people call it "black village wall", also known as "laolongzhai". It is said that Han Xiaoyu once ruled the village in the five dynasties.

Sun watching platform

On laolongji mountain, there is a platform called "Sun watching platform". Watching the red sun here in the morning is like rising up from the East Sea. It's gorgeous and magnificent. It's said that Zhang Guo, the empress of eating ginseng, once had a quiet meditation here, and his way was growing with each passing day. Then he flew away by the holy donkey, so it's also called "shengxiantai".

Fairy Cave

There is a cave between the rock cliffs at the south end of laolongji, which is said to be the meeting place of the eight immortals. Here is a picturesque view of Tianyuan village, with rare flowers, Yao grass, ancient cypress and cangyan.

Woliushi

More than 50 meters northeast of Dafang temple, there is a stone 3 meters long and 2.5 meters around, which looks like a crouching cow, so it is called "Crouching cow stone".

Fairy stove

On the downhill of woliushi, there is a mound with a radius of more than ten square meters and a depression in the middle. The silt is flat and the depth is unpredictable. It is said that this is a cooking stove for the eight immortals gathering to entertain the Dragon King. It is commonly known as xiayaowo. Here, the moon is bright, the spring is murmuring, the road is winding, and the environment is quiet. No wonder the eight immortals will entertain the Dragon King of the East China Sea here.

Apricot comes out of stone

On the apricot hillside in the northwest of Dafang temple, there is a bench of big stone, in which there grow 5-meter-high apricot trees. They are fine and even, about the diameter of the bowl, and are full of flowers and fruits. They are really strange stones and trees. They are called "mountain apricots come out of stones". Here you can enjoy the old dragon's ridge, which is stretching into the clouds.

Dragon watching platform

Dafang temple is located in the northwest, about one Chinese Li. Guanlongtai is the central point of Longji mountain scenic spot, surrounded by valleys and a solitary peak in the middle. There is a huge stone on the peak. On the stone, there are three big characters of "guanlongtai" in traditional Chinese characters, and a line of small characters next to it is called "Xingyue in Xinsi year". The date of the inscription is February in the year of the snake, but how many years ago is unknown.

Dafang Temple

Dafang temple in the scenic spot was first built in the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2000 years. It has been expanded and rebuilt for many times in Tang, song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and its scale is getting larger and larger. The temple environment is quiet and simple, with towering trees and beautiful scenery. In midsummer, it is cool and pleasant, which is a rare tourist attraction in Northern Anhui. According to research, the temple in its heyday, there are more than 50 houses, more than 40 monks. In front of the hall, there are five hundred Arhats hall, complete with Buddha statues. During the period of the Republic of China, the temple was once occupied by bandits, and its cultural relics, pavilions, platforms, buildings and pavilions were destroyed. After liberation, the temples were handed over to the forest farms in Suxian County for management. After the "Cultural Revolution", most of the temples, bells and drums were destroyed. Today, there are only three North Wing rooms and four South Wing rooms, two broken inscriptions, one stone table and two stone drums, covering an area of only about 12 mu. Later, with donations from local people who love their hometown, three simple halls and three Buddha statues were restored. There is a Longyun cave behind the temple. To the south of the temple, there is a steep cliff 60 meters high. In the cliff, there is a small room for monks to practice meditation. There is the word "Big Buddha" beside the small room. There is a martial arts training platform at the top of the steep rock cliff, a fairy cave under the steep rock, a small temple 60 meters in front of the cave, an old dragon mountain 150 meters to the west of the temple, and a dragon ridge about 800 meters long. You can have a panoramic view of the dragon body mountains by climbing the Dragon Ridge. There is a mountain spring on the right side of the temple. The clear spring murmurs and flows continuously.

Zhang Guolao

It is said that this place is the old hometown of immortal Zhang Guo. There are more than ten legendary relics, such as his practice, eating ginseng and becoming an immortal.
