Jintaiguan is located in the half slope of the cemetery. It was founded in the late Yuan Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 1433 and 1550 respectively. It was the monastic Office of Zhang Sanfeng, a Taoist in the Ming Dynasty. The main Taoist monuments and buildings in the temple include Shanmen, Yuhuang Pavilion, luzu hall, Notre Dame hall, Zhangye hall, Sanqing hall, Cihang hall, Bagua Pavilion, Notre Dame cave, Sanfeng cave, Yaowang cave, Chaoyang cave, etc. most of them are built according to the situation of the mountain. In the view of climbing, you can see the Qinling Mountains from afar, which are lined up like a screen, green and dripping. Overlooking the Weihe River, you can see the high-rise buildings in the urban area, beautiful mountains and thousands of scenes. It is one of the three Taoist temples in Baoji.
Jin taiguan
Jintai temple is located in the Banpo of Forest Park on the north slope of Jintai District, Baoji City, China. Development history
Jintaiguan was built by Zhang Sanfeng, a famous Taoist in Ming Dynasty, to cultivate. It is said that Zhang Sanfeng learned Taijiquan and neijiaquan here. Naturally, the cultivation of Taoism is also superb. There is also a tree planted by Zhang Sanfeng in that year. The biography of Zhang Sanfeng, volume 299 of the history of the Ming Dynasty, states: "Zhang Sanfeng, a native of Yizhou in the east of Liaoning Province, is named Quanyi, a Junbao, whose name is Sanfeng Taizu heard his name, Hongwu 24 years (1391) sent envoys to find it, can not. Later, he lived in Jintai Temple of Baoji. "
It is the so-called ancient poetry cloud: not in accordance with Chen Bao, floating clouds from the exchanges. Three peaks remain jade cave, a staff down the gold platform. Where does Haiyue go? The king cannot call back. No life, no land, the world wandering.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the people's government has repeatedly funded the maintenance of the ancient buildings of Jintai temple. Later, a museum was set up in the temple to display a large number of bronzes from the Western Zhou Dynasty, making the temple famous.
Jintaiguan temple fair is held on the third day of March and the tenth day of October of the lunar calendar every year. There are local opera performances such as Qinqiang opera.

There was a folk saying that "Baoji has a Jintai temple, which is only five and a half feet away from the sky". It is said that if you stand on the platform in front of the Jade Emperor Pavilion of the Jintai temple and look at it from a distance, you will be really relaxed and happy, and you will see a lot of scenes. The general layout of jintaiguan building is based on the mountain. The main buildings are arranged along the central axis, symmetrical to the left and right. There are Yuhuang Pavilion, Sanqing hall, octagonal pavilion, Sanfeng cave, etc. Yuhuangge is a two-story pavilion with a single eaves resting on the top of the mountain. It is three rooms wide, five beams deep and surrounded by porches. The outer eaves of the bottom floor are three steps out of the single arch, and the outer eaves of the second floor are three colors of Ruyi arch. The whole structure adopts the method of through column, and the waist eaves flat seat is applied on the second floor.
Sanqing hall, single eaves Xie hilltop, three wide face, deep into five rafters, external eaves Dougong for three stepped out of the single ang. Sanfeng cave is a loess cave style ancestral temple, which adopts the method of issuing coupons and hoops. There are sacrificial platforms and statues in the cave. In front of the cave, there is a semi-finished wooden eaves on the top of the hill. On both sides of the cave are the temples of Feitian, Jiang Yuan and Yaowang.
After the founding of the people's government has repeatedly funded the maintenance of jintaiguan ancient building, and later built it as Baoji City Museum.
Baoji City Museum was established in 1956. It was called historical relics exhibition room at that time. In 1958, it was officially renamed Baoji City Museum. In 1976, it was listed as one of the key municipal museums in China by the State Administration of cultural relics. At present, the building area is more than 2550 square meters, the display area is 1550 square meters, and the ancient building area is 910 square meters. A complete set of display cabinets, storage cabinets and repair equipment, photographic equipment, security facilities. It also has a library with a collection of more than 10000 books. Baoji museum is a local museum of history. Over the years, a total of 14100 pieces (groups) of cultural relics have been collected, most of which are from the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties. All of these provide material objects for the study of ancient politics, economy, military, culture and art.
