Construction history

Mazitan reservoir, built in 1972 and completed in 1978, covers an area of nearly 7000 mu, with a water surface of 12000 Mu and a storage capacity of 76.2 million cubic meters. It can irrigate more than 200000 mu of good farmland in Baima, Zhongxing, Buyun, Lanjiang and other towns. It is the largest irrigation project in Anju district.
