Located on the West Bank of the usshun river around Sanjiazi Village, Diaoling Township, Linkou County, the memorial site for eight women who died bravely in the Northeast Anti Japanese coalition was built. From July to September in 1938, the main forces of the fourth and fifth armies of the Northeast Anti Japanese allied forces went from Yilan to Wuchang. When the troops returned to Diaoling, there were only eight comrades left in the women's regiment of the Fifth Army, including the instructor Leng Yun, the monitor Hu Xiuzhi and Yang Guizhen, the soldiers Guo Guiqin, Cha Guiqing, Wang Huimin, Li Fengshan (Korean nationality) and the director an Shunfu (Korean nationality) of the Fourth Army Bei Yan factory. The oldest was 23 years old, and the youngest was only 13 years old. In early October, the troops were suddenly attacked by the enemy. Leng Yun and eight other female comrades were cut off by the river and lost contact with the army. They fought tenaciously, preferred death to surrender, and finally ran out of bullets. They jumped into the ushun river together and gave their precious lives for the liberation of the motherland. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the people's government set up a monument on the hillside around the martyrs' river. On the front is an inscription by Chen Lei, a veteran of the Anti Japanese Federation: "eight women's spirits shine through the ages."
