Bright Summit

This Guangmingding is not the place of constant competition in the Wulin in the story of killing the Dragon by relying on heaven, but the second peak of Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1860 meters. It's high and open, and the sun shines for a long time, so it's named. In the Ming Dynasty, monk Pumen once built Dabei courtyard on the top. Now, Huangshan meteorological station, the highest meteorological station in East China, is built on the site. Visitors can visit the weather station. It is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds in Huangshan.

The top is flat and broad, with a panoramic view of the wonders of the East China Sea, the peaks of the West Sea, and the peaks of Tiandu, Lianhua, Yuping and Aoyu. The so-called 36 peaks of Huangshan Mountain, Guangmingding is not among them, because the ancients regarded Guangmingding as the crown of the peaks, so it was listed above the 36 peaks. It's also a very beautiful picture to see the starry sky on the bright top at night.

Bright Summit

Guangmingding is one of the main peaks of Huangshan. It is located in the middle of Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1841 meters. It is the second peak of Huangshan Mountain. Together with Tiandu peak and Lianhua peak, it is called the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain. The top is flat and broad, with a panoramic view of the wonders of the East China Sea, the peaks of the West Sea, the peaks of alchemy, Tiandu, Lianhua, Yuping and Aoyu.

Because it's high and open, and the sun shines for a long time, it's called Guangmingding. Because of the flat terrain, it is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and sunset and the sea of clouds in Huangshan.

From the north gate of Huangshan Mountain (Taiping), take Taiping cableway to Danxia peak, and walk about an hour to Guangming peak through feilaishi. From the South Gate (Tangkou) of Huangshan scenic spot, take Jingjiao bus to mount Panshan highway, to ciguangge, take Yuping cableway, then walk about two hours to Guangmingding.
