Liuzhou museum is located in the east of people's Square in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, with convenient transportation. Liuzhou Museum has a collection of more than 36000 cultural relics, including Liuzhou historical and cultural exhibition, Liuzhou ethnic minority customs exhibition, ancient bronze exhibition, ancient painting and calligraphy fan exhibition, and ancient ceramics exhibition, which shows the national culture and history of Liuzhou to the audience.
Liuzhou museum is a national AAAA cultural relic tourist attraction, covering an area of 39 mu, with a construction area of 16600 square meters and an exhibition area of 8000 square meters. It has jurisdiction over liuhou temple cultural relic scenic spot and Dongmen tower cultural relic scenic spot.
Historical evolution
On January 14, 1959, Liuzhou museum was established, located on the east side of Liuzhou library, 54 Wenhui Road. Its main task is to take over the cultural relics handed over by Liuzhou cultural relics management committee.
In March 1959, the site of the museum was moved to the second floor of the Municipal Cultural Center (formerly the Federation of literary and art circles). At the same time, the collection, collation, research and protection of the city's historical and cultural relics were carried out. From time to time, some small exhibitions in the form of pictures, models and objects were held.
In 1966, the Cultural Revolution began, and the museum was paralyzed. Liuzhou Revolutionary Committee merged the museum with the Municipal Cultural Museum.
In July 1972, the Municipal Museum was restored and moved to No. 6, Wuyi Road. Since then, all kinds of business have been on the right track.
In 2002, Liuzhou museum was listed as a national key Museum.
In 2003, the new site of Liuzhou museum was moved to the hexagonal building of the original technology exchange station on the east side of the square.
In July 2005, it moved from the hexagonal building of the technical exchange station to the new building under construction. The new building is located at 37 Jiefang North Road, Liuzhou City, northeast of the people's Square.
In July 2007, the new Liuzhou museum was officially opened to the public.
In May 2009, Liuzhou museum was rated as a second-class Museum by the State Administration of cultural relics.
In December 2009, Liuzhou Museum applied for national 4A scenic spot and passed the acceptance of National Tourism Administration.

The National Museum displays Zhuang folk songs, Miao festivals, Yao dances and Dong architecture, various folk crafts including brocade, embroidery, ceramics, bamboo weaving and mang weaving, Zhuang Ganlan dwellings, Yao and Miao medicine, as well as folk literature and art of each nation.
Bronze Exhibition Hall
More than 150 pieces of bronze ware are on display in the bronze Museum, including trumpet shaped bronze ware with cloud and thunder patterns in the Western Zhou Dynasty, bronze sword with human face patterns in the Western Zhou Dynasty, copper Yong bell with spiral pattern in the Western Zhou Dynasty, sheep horn button bell with cicada pattern in the Warring States period, shoe shaped Tomahawk in the Warring States period, human face patterns in the Warring States period, frog shaped sword, bronze Distiller in the Han Dynasty and bronze drum with frog in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

The fan painting and calligraphy museum displays more than 200 fan painting and calligraphy works of Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern times in Liuzhou Museum.
Paleontological fossil Museum
There are abundant fossil species on display in the paleontological fossil Museum, with a long time span, ranging from the earliest Chengjiang fossil group in China (570 million years ago in Cambrian period) to the mammalian fossils in Liuzhou in Quaternary period. In the exhibition hall, the tragic story of parrot billed dinosaurs, the evolution of paleontological fossils and the extinction of dinosaurs are shown in rolling mode.

East Gate Tower
Liuzhou East Gate Tower is located at the north end of Wenhui Bridge, Shuguang East Road, Chengzhong District, Liuzhou city. It was first built in the 12th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1379 A.D.), and has a history of more than 600 years. The East Gate Tower faces south, covers an area of 500 square meters, is about 17 meters high, 20 meters wide and 11 meters deep. It is composed of the gate and the qiaolou. The city gate is built on the base of large stone, with exposed brick walls. There are two stories above the gate. The column in the building has no bucket arch and directly supports the roof. The new buildings include Liuzhou ancient city display, Mingcheng sand table model and ancient fort.
Liuhou Temple
Liuhou temple, formerly known as Luochi temple, is located in the west corner of liuhou Park in the center of Liuzhou city. It was originally named Luochi Temple (because it was built on the West Bank of Luochi), but now it is renamed liuhou temple. It is a temple built by Liuzhou people to commemorate Liu Zongyuan, a famous politician, thinker and writer in Tang Dynasty. Since its completion in Tang Dynasty, liuhou temple has been repaired and expanded in all dynasties. The current site is the site of liuhou temple, which was rebuilt in 1909.
Activity construction
On December 10, 2012, the executive vice president of the CPC National Minority Cultural Relics Protection Association and the president of the East, middle and west regional development and Reform Research Institute awarded the plaque of "national cultural education base" by the China national minority cultural relics protection association to Liuzhou Museum.
From April 20 to 25, 2013, the painting and calligraphy exhibition of Chinese contemporary masters and Liuzhou dewenxuan painting and Calligraphy Academy was held in Liuzhou Museum.
From August 1, 2013 to August 31, 2013, the Chinese imperial examination culture exhibition was displayed in the multi-function hall on the first floor of Liuzhou Museum.
From August 25 to 27, 2014, the first Liuzhou arts and Crafts Master evaluation and the second Liuzhou arts and crafts exhibition were exhibited in the multi-function hall on the first floor of Liuzhou Museum.
From December 31, 2014 to January 25, 2015, the exhibition of Western watercolor sketches of CAI Zhongzhong, the berth of soul, was held in the multi-function exhibition hall on the first floor of Liuzhou Museum.
